A channel about hiking in Alaska.
Finally hiking Mount Tucker
Today we finally hike Mount Tucker after passing by it twice last year. It’s a fairly medium difficulty hike maybe 4.5/10 or so. The trail is very straightforward so route finding shouldn’t be an issue.

Hiking through the clouds on Bird Ridge
Переглядів 2719 годин тому
Had a great day hiking with my dad. We start off in a good deal of cloud cover then made our way above it and it eventually burned off. I lie and say I’ll keep you updated then don’t for the rest of the video lol

Natural Hot Spring River Hike - Reykjadalur HotSpring Thermal River
Переглядів 8221 день тому
Today we are still in Iceland and doing a hike to a natural hot spring river. The hike was very fun and fairly easy I would say 2.5/10 for difficulty as there is a nicely well maintained trail the whole way and gradual incline. The best part was the end where you get to bath in the river which was quite warm. We brought water shoes but I think they were unnecessary. A towel is a must though. Th...
Iceland Hike: Glymur Waterfall Hike
Переглядів 138Місяць тому
Today we are in Iceland instead of Alaska. And we are hiking Glymur waterfall trail. This was one of the best hikes I have ever done and would highly recommend it. It was about a 4/10 in difficulty mainly due to the 2 river crossings. When doing this hike make sure you bring some water shoes or just take your shoes off for the river crossings. Also a towel is helpful to dry off your feet. We ma...

Almost almost Mount Tucker
Переглядів 186 місяців тому
One day I will show you guys Mount Tucker but today is not that day. Today I did one of my frequent winter hikes up on the ridge towards Mount Tucker. The trail is usually pretty good but sometimes can have big snow drifts. Overall I rate it about 3/10 for difficulty.
Japan Trip - Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara

This was our trip to Japan. We did three small hikes I would say they were all about a 2/10 for difficulty. Fushimi Inari Shrine Mount Wakakusa Arashiyama Monkey Park

Love the channel! Helps me allot on where to go 🔥
Thanks if you ever need more info on any of the hikes just let me know.
That gave me PTSD! Haha
Haha Next time you’re up I’ll actually remember my GoPro and we can document it.
That was amazing.
I really like that it takes me less than 5 minutes to this far. 😅 I am in a mood.
The music at the beginning is so relaxing. I am sure it wasn’t relaxing going uphill.😂
Haha I have learned to enjoy the pain.
Looking over close to the waterfall looks scarier than the first part.
On parts of the trails they had sections roped off, I assume for safety. But some areas they didn’t have roped off seemed much more dangerous.
Iceland?! Jealous. Nice video!
Yeah it was a really great trip I have one more hike we did. And then just some random footage. Thanks
Was this in July? if so im surprised at all the snow still up there
It was either mid July or very late June. I can’t recall.
Nice video 🔥
Love the music, it's so happy!
Shawn! It’s good to hear from you. Thanks for checking out the video
nice video
Thanks I’m glad you liked it.
love your videos! im entering my second summer here in anchorage, and am hoping to overcome my fear of hiking alone. i carry bear spray, but was still so terrified last year that i couldn’t do it. any pointers? i’m thinking maybe taking out my gopro could allow me to keep talking at least…any pointers? thank you for sharing your hikes! i’m hoping to do this one as an overnight this year.
Thanks for the support. I kinda jacked up my leg so it will be awhile until I post more videos. I think the best way to get used to hiking alone is to start on more popular trails. Baldy, Rabbit Lake, South Fork, and Flattop are all well traveled. With more people around you are less likely to run into wildlife. But if you are by yourself on a less popular trail just try to be noisy so you don’t surprise any animals. Also I would recommend looking into the statistics. There is a very low chance of actually being attacked by an animal. O one other tip is look up what to do if you do happen to run into an animal. I hope that helps.
I like how the trail literally just goes right through the entrance to the outhouse.
Haha I should have added in an outhouse review.
One of the things I miss the most about Alaska is the amazing mountains.
This is truly spectacular! Really amazing, and all in one year! The music also fits perfectly, I have this playing on repeat it's so cool
Thanks I’m glad you like it
I like the highlight idea too
I think a highlight reel for the year is a cool idea! maybe complete with ranking by difficulty, some distance/elevation stats, challenges encountered, and a map including parking to help plan hikes. I really like your timelapses at the top when you have them, and of course your dinosaur-summit photos. thanks for your videos!
Those are some good ideas. Maybe I’ll do a Timelapse one and then maybe a ranking with a couple clips and include some kind of map.
What a great way to save a vacation trip.
that was awesome !
Thanks glad you liked it
ahhhhhh...... Wiener Hofwalzer.....
Getting cold! Thanks for another one!
Wow! That’s definitely windy!!!
Beautiful, good stuff
Thank you kindly
Very cool!
Thank you
Looks like you got a gopro mount now? Voice sounds clearer now but not sure if you are using a wind break or not. Anyway good stuff thanks again for uploading on sunday!
I’ve had a mount for a little while now and it seems to work pretty well. This is still one of the videos without and wind reduction. I think in like 3 more videos I’ll have something for it.
time to hike! I've been watching for a while. I would love to give you feedback. I don't know if a cheap lav-mic or a wind-shield would help but I would very much think watching your content would be easier and your voice would be less hard to hear if you decided to get more serious about the upload quality. Anyway thanks again for the upload!
You’re definitely right. I have been thinking about it. On an upcoming videos I basically almost get blown over because it’s so windy and there is no way you guys will be able to hear anything. Haha I’ll look in to getting one but I have a backlog of hikes to upload so you won’t see a difference in awhile.
Bruh this is crazy awesome
Thanks the views do most of the heavy lifting though.
I can hear the beginning now. "On your left!"
Haha it wasn’t too bad biking out but on the way back some dogs ran directly in front of me and I almost flew over the handlebars trying to stop.
Nothin better than just finding raw, genuine content. Keep livin life, it’s beautiful out there!
Thanks I’ve been having a great time hiking this year and doing some I haven’t done before.
That's some beautiful views
Yeah the views were amazing back there. I’ll have some fall colors in the upcoming videos.
Should be a relaxing hike! Looking forward to it.
Yeah it was definitely a nice one, not too much elevation and not too long. We did see some people rock climbing also but they were too far away to get video.
My boy coming in with the content just as I was looking for some. Thanks again for taking your time and uploading these.
No problem at all, I’m glad you’re still enjoying them. This one didn’t have the nice views but there was a good amount of wildlife.
Saw the ptarmigan on Ptarmigan 😊
Yeah I was really hoping to see one. I kind of followed the path he took also so I guess he was helpful.
WOOT WOOT HIKASEAURUSSS
NICE. Love the quality of video and constant verbal updates. Exactly what I want to binge.
Awesome, thank you.
My wife and I did Eagle/Symphony today and she mentioned that this his is on her wish list. Thanks for the preview, we'll definitely be up there the next time we have a clear day
No problem, I hope you guys have a great time. :)
Such outstanding scenery this close to home (Chugiak) always amazes me. I've hiked and fished Symphony lake in the past. Cool video sir. Thanks for sharing your day.
Thanks I’m glad you enjoyed it. At some point I’ll get back out to symphony lake again it’s been a few years since I’ve been back there.
Like the nice calm music
Thanks, it’s just random music UA-cam has for free.
Enjoyed the music

I’m glad you enjoyed it. I’ll just kind of slowly start adding them through the summer as get out and do some more.
Thanks for the beta. I'm going to try it this weekend.
Great I hope you have a good time.
_Really cool and interesting hiking adventure, the stunning beauty of incredible Echo Bend scenery is clearly shown and well narrated._
