This thing you have to understand about toy lines is production counts. Ban Dai orders these figures to be produced my factories. The more they order the cheaper each figure cost Ban Dai. A release that you find at Target/Wal-Mart is a HUGE order, so the price for each is much cheaper. That plus the small amount of accessories is where you get that $35 price tag. Smaller order figures, like the limited ones on pBandai cost more per figure. The smaller and more limited the run, the more it will cost. That, and Ban Dai knows they can ask for a few more bucks on pBandai and get away with it. The FOMO is real.

Naw Deadass tho that Vegeta is not worth $60 def a regular $35 they milking. Its crazy the lengths Tamashi will go lol but he will def go for reissue later down the yr. Them also adding that crying face a bit much smh.

I know you said you're new so I understand. Trust me dude, SHF tends to look good but 90% of the figures are overpriced. Get used to that if you wanna keep collecting em. I only buy very specific figures. Way too expensive to be a completionist. King Cold was like $150. Insane stuff dude.

I'm probably going to pre order it because it's an iconic outfit, I'll either have him snoozing though (can't believe that's one of his best promo shots though) or if I get a 4th form frieza at some point i'll have him strangled getting punched in the back. I'm assuming he comes with a battle damaged back plate too, the product description mentions "exchangeable battle clothes *parts* set". But I just feel after the 24000 Vegeta this looks like a step back in terms of anime accurate appearance - I'm not loving these faces.

I mean, it's a cool figure and i was about to pull the trigger myself...but i just cant justify the price. Throw on shipping and tax and you're looking at like a $75-$80 figure. If you need it? Then go for it. If you just want another Vegeta? The Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegeta (Unwaivering Saiyan Pride) is still up for preorder for $35. THAT one i wouldn't pass on if you want a God form that's reasonably priced. It's an expensive hobby (sickness) man lol 🤷‍♂️

It does sometimes feel weird. Take the Ultra Man figure, for example. He's a new one that came out only having 2 extra hands and a tiny little chest piece to swap out. Yet he is $35. He's a very thin figure too, so he's not much plastic. But then you compare him to the Naruto figure. And he's the same price available at the same places, and he comes with much more.

I'd say take the saiyan saga vegeta, take looks good too

I think that if you like it and want it,you should definitely get it, because after the preorder is done it's definitely gonna go up in price,if you want a base form Vegeta,I recommend getting the super hero Vegeta.The reason it's that expensive is because tamashi needs money💲 so they put it up on premium bandai to make it "exclusive"

Congrats and okay lemme tell u the story how I got my Kaio Ken Goku at my target and it was ez to found so here’s the story: Okay so at first we went to target just like normal and we only found son Goku super sayian and yk ofc I got it and so, after that I was like “I want to go back to target and get more” so then we went to target like a few days later, and after that we went to the section where they had all sorts of anime and they had Naruto and yk the limit breakers dragon ball z, and I was looking for more dragon ball figures that I like and we saw like 5 kaio ken and I was like “OH MY GOD BRO THIS IS CRAZY” and then I was like bro yk I gotta buy one and I said yeah I’m gettin one for sure and I was so happy that I even make stop motions with them and before the kaio Ken my first dragon ball figure was gohan and still a child so yeah and after I got kaio Ken Goku I got vegeta golden frieza and we also went to Walmart I saw beerus but I didn’t get him because I’m tryna look for the sh figuarts normal frieza so that’s the end😅.

I had it happen at my local target too. Cashier was useless and didnt want to help. I called the store to speak with the manager and that lady was awesome. Bought the entire case and ended up making money and keeping one

This makes a lot of sense to me, I went to Target here in Dallas this past Sunday, just randomly walking throught the section where they have the FUNKO POPS and NECA figurines and I saw a stack of KIO-KEN Goku's at least 6 of them next to Super Sayain Vegeta, my eyes wouldn't believe it when I saw them, I grab one and took it to the register, the cashier wasn't able to scan it and neither was I able to scan it through the Target App, I told her on the shelve it said $34.99 and she said I trust you, she adjusted the price and I was able to purchase it, I went back the next day to pick up another one early in the morning (not to resell, just to have an open one at home) and to my surprise, they were all gone even the Super Saiyin Vegeta, I figure it was maybe a toy scalper that took them all, usually some Targets have a limit of toys ppl can take, but seeing this video and you explaining it makes sense now, maybe the night shift crew realize they werent supposed to be on the shelves yet and took them out so I will try my luck again this weekend and the upcoming days, which means thet will be release pretty soon. I got lucky with this one.

I dead ass got trunks from target yesterday and it had the same problem with the bar code and the dude gave it to me for 9 dollars and my cousin had the same problem at his target and they gave it to him for 5 dollars we both got a steal .
