Yay I loved to see you pass right by my house in York PA, glad you got to go up to Reading PA. Also at 41:15 That is a bridge I always go on and is literally the definition of a Pennsylvania Bridge, u can tell just by the sound. But I know unfortunately that Pennsylvania is going to Longitudinal grooving now and is really sad. So this is the only good Pennsylvania bridge I know of right now

Starting at 22:22 is the original portion of Route 1's toll road with the concrete poured in 1992 and the bridges built starting in 1989. Although the segment from the beginning to Exit 156 was built as a separate project and later signed as Route 1 and was originally concrete.

I used to drive this regularly but now it feels unfamiliar because of the express lanes. I miss the 1990s concrete pavement that used to be between VA 28 and US 50. From there to I-495 it had the original 1960s concrete until 2011. The ride was very loud and bumpy. If you haven't done it already, I-66 inside the beltway + the whitehurst fwy is an interesting drive for both the scenery and road sounds.

The I-66 part starts roughly 4 minutes in with bits of I-495 before that. Also decided to let the camera roll in the eastbound direction.

This sound is definitely my absolute favorite. Simple but still sounds really cool
