Hi Vertmaster! Thanks for the fine video! Could you answer me a question, please? How can I change the size of the move-axes in poly vertex mode? (I know how to enlarge the pivot-axes for a whole object by "+"). My problem is when I try to move a single vertex of a mesh, the x-, y- and z-axes are to small to handle. In rotate- and scale-mode the axes size is normal. Hope you can help! :)

For 2023 version open the material pressing (M) or the material button. Just go to mode and change it to the mode indicated by this video, follow the instruction by this video and we gucci!

At 9:57 you are aligning vertices. I am not familiar with this trick! Please explain!

every time I open a project file, my 3dmax automatically creates a backup file. This is very annoying because it increases memory capacity, I have turned off autobackup, but it doesn't work? 3ds max keeps backing up files every time I open a project, do you have a solution?

Your modeling of the toilet COVER is what I want -- with changes! I do NOT know anything about the 3d modeling, but I know the modifications I would like to make! Do you have cats? Or, do you know someone who has cats? My cats get litter all over the floor and I need to clean the litter box every day. If you could make the modifications I want to that toilet seat, you could save me a lot of work and hassle. (And, probably a LOT of other cat-people would like my desired modifications. MOST toilet COVERS are concave down. My idea is to turn the toilet COVER convex up (upside down). That way the cover is akin to a shallow bowl. And, in the bottom of the bowl I would like a smallish hole. The hole needs to be small enough that kittens and cats canNOT fall in, but big enough to permit cat-waste to go into the toilet. I would also like an attached plug or stopper to be able to go into the hole so that when the toilet is flushed, cat waste does NOT go flying out of the toilet. NOTE: Most toilet covers come attached to the toilet seats with those metal things. Therefore, that type of attachment needs to be modified also. How much would it cost for you to make some alterations like I just described?

is possible remove completly this Physical Material from my 3dsmax? i change the UI of 3dsmax to read only Legacy material, but when i import any file automatically turns to physical material unique physical thing i losing here is my mind
