Brush strokes for water fed pole window cleaning
I just recently purchased and received my WFP & DI System. How do you go about cleaning windows that has hard water stains? It seems to me that the bristles on the WFP are too soft to do any kind of scrubbing. 0:52
Do you need to wear safety goggles when using waterfed pole
Hi, who is servicing your texatherm carpet extractor in irealand, interested in buying it
Nobody bud. Have to take it back there for servicing or repairs which is a big cost
couple of questions. The first is, the 2 drain pipes at the end, can a bucket fit under it it doesnt look like it can? Also, can the machine be van mounted and left in the van so there would be no need to keep taking it in and out the van as that would be a pain. And if you could do a video showing the process of cleaning a carpet using the machines that would be great
great video thank you
Who is this imposter ? I don't recognise you today Steven 😊
Weather's magic isn't it Steve. I do the exact seme thing. ☘️
Today is only 20 degrees so just nice to work in the breeze 👌🏻 too man JD
@Steven Lee 20° is my limit Steve, then I start looking for shelter 😁
where the hell ya been bro? your USA fans have missed ya.. haha. I thought ya found a fat American chick and moved over here in the sticks and had no WIFI. hahaha
Worth keeping that one in mind, thanks for upload mate. Just invested in a booster pump myself & as you say, it makes one helluva difference all round . Hope your keeping busy & well Steven ☘️
Steven’s back
Back again… Steven’s back… tell a friend..guess whose back…

Nothing worse when your home from work stuck in at the wiring 😂
I can think of one worse thing…. Accounting books 😬😂
Maybe it is best to have a removeable pump box which can be easily accesible for checks etc.. ..A pump box or board which has brackets or some sort of fixing system that can be easily connected securely to the van but also in a second be unconnected and taken out of the van.
I did have a pump box previously but any damp it seemed to hold and it made bits of the pressure switch on the pump and any connections. Maybe if the connections were heat shrinked and the box ventilated….
Great video Simon, Wiring connections and loose/corrosion on bullets Ect. can cause unexpected issues. thanks for sharing
Fantastic news you found the fault. Good video aswell Steven
Couple of tips. Make sure your fuses are as close to the battery as possible, any cuts in the insulation between the battery and fuse can cause a short and won't blow the fuse but could cause a fire!!!! Second, choc blocks are bad connections in a damp environment. Use crimps they are both electrical connections and strain relief as they grip the insulation as well as conductor when fitter properly. Good to see you back, how's life going?
It stays quite dry there, but i dont find crimps very good myself… perhaps solder and shrink wrap is another option either , even though it makes it fairly permanent
Life is going good mate!!
@@stevenlee4437 Solder is a very good connection but not very good for fault finding or swapping things if something goes wrong. I find crimps are good as long as you use a proper crimp tool.
@@ched999uk Maybe I’ve been using too large of a crimp to make a proper lasting connection- either that or they were cheap
Buy some Wago connectors 👍🏻
Will look them up bud
Just ordered thanks 👌🏻
Long time no see mucker ☘️
Too long mate
Great to see you back steven always enjoy your videos worth the wait keep up the content 👍
Needs much more views my friend 👍
If you do window cleaning the traditional way a lot your customers would love to get rid of you but they don't because they have been with you for a while these traditional window cleaners don't even do a good job I'm not saying that you didn't I know window cleaners who don't
Well I am a psychic clairvoyant and medium would you like to know your future past or present
If you lose a few customers go out and get more
A young lad like you should be doing 1600 to £2,000 a week
Great job.quick question where do you get you window cleaning equipment
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What you meant to do mate wash all your frames all your sails underneath the sails wash all your clothes all your frames and running it down and rinse it done job done next one You'll be there all day pal
Sounds late to me mate you won't know shit from dirty pudding
Hi Steven, I have a very similar setup but would like to know where I could locater the trigger system you have on your pole as I'm sure will be miles more efficient
Van looks great Steve, love the colour.
Nice van
Van looks good! Do you always clean top frames on all windows then come back and clean the rest of the frames and glass or is it just for problem windows?
Alright ched, only when problematic, when there is white pvc with a proper frame and no vent I don’t. But I will scrub and rinse first the top frame before moving on to the glass and side and bottom frame
@@stevenlee4437 I thought that would be the case but thought I would check 🙂
@@ched999uk especially as a lot of our work is on long intervals. Biweekly or even monthly stuff isn’t half the issue either 👍🏻
Thx for the upload Steven ☘️
So the rumours are true! Steven was not assassinated by a rival. He is in fact alive & well praise be 🙏☘️
It’d take a lot to keep me down JD 😉
@@stevenlee4437 Glad to hear it mucker
Nice organised tool box. Do you have through floor rollers or keep doors open when working? What brushes are you using? Silverstone should be a good race, might even have a shower!!!
We don’t mate. We are never too far away from the van, and the Fiat allows you to lock the cab and the rear doors can be unlocked. Using the Gardiner super lite soft-medium brushes. I’ve used so many variations but other just don’t seem to stack up for the abuse we give the Gardiner ones. I also use pencil jets. Can’t wait for the GP. Go Max 😂
Great to see a new vid, hope you are keeping well.
Great pump, I got mine from Sureclean aswell ,like you said is noise 🙈
I really enjoyed that,thanku
I agree with Steven on this job definitely, the middle upvc bar can mark glass as can top of window. On more normal upvc windows 1st clean do all frames on all windows then return to start point and do glass But this job here is a pig 😆 I must admit maintenance jobs do whole window and glass together I’ve been wfp 17 yrs I do get some spots occasionally Im my worst critic I clean windows and rarely check now Average 0-1 callback a year Use ubiks 50-50 mix in trigger spray bottle Spray on brush and good scrub 1 st clean 👍
You would be a successful youtuber Steve if you put up 1 video a week
Great space you have there! Lots of potential 😀
Good to see you back buddy
You had hair the last time you done a video Steven ! New van looking great 👍
The locks are well gone JD!
@@stevenlee4437 I know only too well Steven .
Best of luck in future. Always enjoy your videos. Thanks for update.
Thanks mate
Looking great Steven
Nice to see you back. Re the RO, what is the input tds and tds after RO? Maybe it froze over the winter? You realise you can get a cheap 12v 5A dc supply from the likes of amazon to replace the battery.
The battery is good mate. Tds is 350 beforehand and 25 tds after. My water source has always been 350 tds - and it used to make water at 5 tds. The unit never froze- I think water being left in it for a few weeks over Xmas ruined it!
@@stevenlee4437 I assume you have tried flushing it for a good while?
@@ched999uk yeah several attempts for hours at a time
@@stevenlee4437 so at first you were getting 99% efficency now it's down to 93% which is very low. Has your water pressure dropped or were you running a waste to pure ratio of less than 60:40? Always best to run at least 60% waste with high input tds. Does should like membrane on last legs, was it a good brand from reputable source?
@@ched999uk that’s it totally. Membrane less than a year old.
Steve are you going to do any new vids this year?
Some great advice ,I want to sell my round so I'm on the other foot. I want to be fair.I don't think I would take installments ,with all the people these days not holding to thier word and saying I can't afford it ect. I don't think I would work a month with the transfer either. If my round is 3x the value that means I'm losing a month working with the guy ,unless he is working a month for free with me. I like this set of rules if you like. -customers must be all wfp -introduce all customers face to face make sure they are happy to transfer. -Must have back access if not the new window cleaner has the choice if he wants the back access /need to text night before customers - some of my customers are cash/cheque bank transfer ,I think it uo to the new window cleaner to sort out thier method of prefered payment -Full cash for round up frount. -no customers with a gap of more than 2 months per clean I think as long as they know the transfer of customers has taken place and wfp then you can't go far wrong
The man is flying. Big up the window cleaners
What do you mean my friend use a Gardiner Pole if I use a Gardiner Pole my wife cannot do our garden she needs the garden Pole
My dear friend that box you got in your van with the water pump in you do not want to bash it in your van do you think it will be better on your roof you can put it next to the solar panels
