3 in a row is the way to go for night shift. Been doing it for 18 yrs. You can also do 2 on 2 off,2 on then 3 off. Try it. Every other weekend ang trabaho. MT on, WTh,F off, Sat,Sun on, MT off, WTh on, Fr,Sat,Sun off, then repeat. That is a 2 week cycle, one pay period 6 shifts. If you can get that schedule, it is optimal talaga. You get 3 days weekend every other weekend. Goodluck.

Been following your vlogs since my UK days and until now na andito na sa US, tinitingnan ko yung transition niyo to US dahil palipat din ako nun dito. I think kilala ko yung isang taga MS na lumipat ng NC. Meron din ako napapanuod every now and then na taga MN naman. Maiba lang, naiisip ko mag try ng ER dito since ER naman ang exp ko sa Pinas and UK pero dito Med Surg. Nag take na din ako ng Certification sa Med Surg. I was supposed to take CCRN nun dahil na consider naman yung ER exp ko pero naisip ko, wala naman ako sa ER kaya yung pang Med Surg yung tinake ko. 😂 Pero, siguro babalik ako ER for a bit dahil mas malaki weekly rate ng ER nurses para sa mga travelers. 😅 Pero baka after ko na lang ma try mag pick up ng contract sa DC, MD, MA at NY 😆

We have the same immigration journey, EB-3, difference lang natin is i am non-healthcare. Naranasan ko rin ang excitement nervousness during that U.S Embassy interview.

Lahat ng bagong dating sa America, tlaga may adjustments, lalo na as a nurse. Anayan lng yan. Hanapin mo lng kung saan ang area/ specialization kung saan ka comportable sa work mo. Lalo na ikaw bata ka pa.

Mahirap tlaga sa ER, kasi fast-paced pero siguro sanayan lng din lalo na kung trauma center yong hosp.

Yes correct ka Sir Marvs, ako nga nandito sa US thru a Family-based Petition and pinagdasal ko rin ito. At first iyak talaga ako dahil na-culture shock ako and tinanong ko sarili ko that why I am here? When I have a stable job sa Pinas. However, later on nung nakakita ako ng work na sa linya ko, na-realize ko na I did make a right choice of migrating here to be with Family. Also, correct ka na mabibili mo ang gusto mo as long as nagta-trabaho ka dito and America is the Land of Opportunity. At I will agree with you na kailangan mo maging matatag sa hamon ng buhay dito sa US and also, prayers talaga helps a lot. Although hindi ako nurse, nakaka-relate ako sa yung mga experiences in life here in the U.S.A. I am always watching your videos and I am subscribed to your channel.😊
