I can’t remember the last order I got from them but I could have sworn it was in a box. Luckily nothing was damaged but I was very nervous when I saw the package jammed in my mailbox!

Thanks for letting me know. I used a one a day cover in 2023 for my full year and had heard the regular Midori covers won’t work. Glad to know that isn’t the case!

@@heidisplanningYes, I had also heard that only the codex would fit. But since I had already bought the regular cover I tried it and it fit perfectly. I didn’t even need to use any heat.

You can get the Codex cover and it fits without a blow dryer as it’s made for a thicker book since the standard midori notebook is a lot thinner and their codex is thicker.

Unfortunately I bought it from the hobonichi website and Amazon doesn’t have the gingham cover.

This is the first time using those incorrectly sized stickers and definitely will be doing things differently when I use the rest. Thanks for the tip!

Glad it was helpful! I love the Hobonichi but definitely prefer the Avec instead of the full year but regardless it’s a great everything planner.

Amazon took it off the site unfortunately. The cover I am using is the Midori A5 Size 49360006. Not sure if it will come back once 2025 planner are available.

I am not sure on the color. I get SNS dip and I just pick the color based on a number of thanks for watching and commenting though.

I work a full time job and in my Cousin I block off that time as work but if I have personal appts within my worktime, I do block off those hours within my work section so I know I am out of the office during that time frame. My work planner is a basic planner that I show my meetings and any to-do items I have for each day but it doesn't link to my Cousin. If you are looking for something on the go to use that is portable, you could use a Hobonichi Weeks. However if I was in your place, I would use a Cousin (or whatever planner would work for you) and just block of your work hours and then add in your personal appts before or after your work and travel. That way you can see what gaps you have for new appts outside of work, travel, and your existing appts.

I have seen people do that and in 2023 when I was in the full year Cousin I was thinking about doing that but I was just too nervous. I know people do it without issue but I just couldn’t make myself do it. Good trick for people who do have thick planners. Thanks for sharing!!!

I wish Hobonichi Avec had an English version like the full year. Maybe it’ll come out in that version soon…

I don’t use gel ink on my tabs. I use my Muji pen and after a couple seconds the ink is dry and doesn’t smudge. I also use 0.38 size so it doesn’t put out a lot of ink which helps. Thanks for watching and commenting.

I noticed that the lighter tones of the chalk ink don’t ghost as much but the darker ones still do a little. I typically use the lighter shades so I don’t really have an issue. If I want to stamp with a darker color, I’ll use my tombow on the stamps too. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I don’t use my mildliners at much as my tombow…would be interested if others find mildliners dry up fast. Thoughts???

I love the Avec! I don’t have to worry about the bulk the cousin has and get to set up a new planner and start fresh mid year. I don’t think in will ever go back to the full year cousin!
