Introduction to Netfabb for Print Studio Users
Autodesk Netfabb is the next generation of industrial-strength 3D printing software for Windows. It allows for extensive customization of supports, mesh repair, and overall workflow, to optimize your production process. Netfabb has several pricing tiers, including a free version.
You can download a trial of Netfabb Premium from www.Netfabb.com, that reverts to the free Netfabb Basic after 30 days if you don't buy it.
This tutorial will teach Ember users, who have been using Print Studio, to print a part using the equivalent workflow in Netfabb Basic. We’ll import a model, position it on the build platform, create supports, choose printer settings, and send the print data to Ember.

    This is extremely old technology. You should take this post down. Final Crowns can actually be entirely 3D printed but this is not how.

    At 35:25 in the video - Why does the horizontal orientation (X,Y) have this threshold where no voxels form until past .4 normalized gray, while in the vertical orientation it is very linear from 0 to 1?

    • @awildtomappeared5925
      @awildtomappeared5925 Рік тому

      The 'vertical' one isn't actually vertical, they achived smoothness on a steep angle by varying the width of the layers on the XY axis, this is like normal AA. All that is happening here is grey pixels next to fully white pixels bleed into them and increase the cure, because it's just helping nearby pixels cure resin a bit more it can work at very low light levels. Meanwhile the 'horizontal' one is a slope printed in one layer, this is actually vertical AA, and because the grey pixels are making a whole new, but very thin layer they need enough light to actaully start curing the resin, for their setup that's at about 40%, from my tests it can be as high as 60%.

    Hello I have a question for anyone who is well-versed in 3d printing. I am very new to this and I am having some issues printing. (I have a Phrozen sonic mini) ( I am using anycubic translucent green) 2 things: when I print, my build does not stick to the z plate it only printed a small layer of the support (it is sitting in the vat, cuz it won't stick to the z plate thingy) I am using Anycubic translucent green on a Phrozen sonic mini. The settings i used on Chitubox are as followed: layer height: 0.03 retract speed: 200 bottom light off delay: 7 bottom layer count: 6 bottom exposure time: 25 Light-off delay: 7 bottom lift distance: 6 bottom lifting speed: 100 exposure time: 2 lifting distance: 5 lifting speed: 100 Any help at all would be greatly appreciated ASAP, I am trying to make a prosthetic and need wisdom lol. Thank you guys :) I will also be using anycubic UV black and have no idea what I should set the settings too. (one more thing haha, does anyone know a flexible resin... like TPU but its compatible with the Phrozen sonic mini?)

    Is this what anycubic photon calls "antialiasing"?

    • @nicholas_james
      @nicholas_james 3 роки тому

      Yes

    • @muffdriver69
      @muffdriver69 3 роки тому

      Yes and no. Yes for the LCD in the x and y axis. No for the z axis (layers). It doesn't do anti aliasing on layers, only resolution of the LCD. But at 4k lcd for mono x, it might not be needed. Not sure for DLP printers though as it does some natural anti aliasing already (uses projector).

    • @gunslingerspartan
      @gunslingerspartan 2 роки тому

      @@muffdriver69 been experimenting with the photon ultra and it's odd, because the projector has very uniform light compared to LCD you end up needing more aliasing because you lack a lot of the light seepage that makes LCD printers like the mars pro so smooth right off the plate there is a lot of people, even LCD printing veterans who have noticed terrible stepping on the ultra's default settings in photon workshop for this reason, because they only turned on horizontal AA, which to my memory using my mars pro is all chitubox had a button for (in fact, I just realised I still had it installed so have checked without updating, as of feb 2021when I lost my mars pro in a house fire it still did not have a setting explicitly for horizontal grey levels)

    What kind of material is used to make these dental crowns? So many toxic chemicals in what we use. Now that BPA has been removed from food products, there are still lots of bad chemicals remaining. So how do we know we are not putting that into our bodies via this new technology, which appears to be so promising?
