My point is, the fact that these MUSLIM students are playing a Jew's music is very contradicting... Just two cents of my opinion. I am a muslim and I have played this music before. Not being a hypocrite but just thought you should know the consequences and possibly sinned (berdosa) from the point of Islam. But ini semua terpulang pada masing2 individu. Salamz.

I've got mixed feelings about this... This has totally got nothing to do with the performance at all but I just want to highlight on the music that they are playing. This wind orchestra I assume is from a MUSLIM community. I'm just wondering if they have any clue or idea about Alfred Reed's music at all. For your info, the Late composer, Dr Alfred Reed is a Jew. (Dia adalah seorang YAHUDI) and his works like 'Armenian Dances Part 1/2' or 'Praise Jerusalem' are Jew influenced music

Tuning and intonation is gd, u guys blend too! but only one thing, running notes, pls be together cz some parts abit out. at 2:12 very out. and ur Oboe solo's phrasing is better thn the other band tht play this. Jus one more thing, pls follow the dynamics, With dynamics, i am very sure tht you guys cn create an adrenaline rush to ur audience and judges. If you were to ask me to judge with a sg compt rubrics: Silver . Good job! :)

U guys have very nice impact, its jus the intonation and tuning. Tuba's need to be abit more articulated. Phrasing is another too. Err one more, dun move unnecessarily. This is one of those bad habits that msian bands instructor are teaching. Move, only if you are really engrossed or getting the hang of it. With all these, Sure can blend in together better.
