Today I was joined by the incredible actor Kimberley Nixon, to talk about her experience living with OCD and the OCD she suffered with after having her baby (post-natal OCD). With over 1 in 5 women developing mental health issues when they are pregnant or after the birth of their child, it was shocking to hear about how little OCD is understood, and how often it is roped in with other postnatal illnesses...even by medical professionals. We talk Kim's journey, important support systems and what needs to be done to improve the future of peri/post-natal mental health care.
