I sampled my youngest Son playing his Cocomelon Keyboard
I caught a cool moment of my youngest Son playing on his Cocomelon keyboard and had to flip it. 🙃 Made using Koala Sampler on iOS.

John 3 :16-21 KJV 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed...
My Second Jam with the Sonicware Liven Mega Synthesis

Here's another beat I made with the Sonicware Liven Mega Synthesis. I used a bit more of it's functionality this time. Accidentally recorded this one through the headphone jack instead of the line out lol. Oops. #allglorytojesus #sonicware #liven #megasynthesis #beatmakers
My First Jam with the Sonicware Liven Mega Synthesis

Jamming with the Sonicware Liven Mega Synthesis for the first time. I kept it pretty simple for the first go. There's still a lot of functionality I haven't dug into yet. I like it so far, although it has randomly froze on me a few times now with all the lights coming on and making a buzzing noise. Hoping they fix that with a firmware update. #sonicware #liven #megasynthesis #beatmakers #allglo...

4:26 th way those different blip tracks detune each other is nice
@@dpalaoro thanks man appreciate your feedback!
the sound in the background sounded like Firework from YMO.
@@dpalaoro ey Yellow Magic Orchestra is dope! 🙏
@@drabmongoose It's in in the intro before the song on the mega synthesis starts. But I just realized it might have been rain hitting your window?? Do you hear what I hear?
@@dpalaoro oh yeah that’s rain. For the intro and outro I switched to the audio from my camera to get the sound of the buttons being pressed, and it was raining outside.
🤔 Love it...
@@BendApparatus 😂 thanks!
this is so sexy!!!!!
@@OldCassetteTapes hey thanks!!
Sounds fuckin’ awesome dude. Respect!
Thank you! I appreciate it 🙏
I would get back to church if the pastor was rocking this set up after blood of Christ was handed out! The vocal was added after the live jam right?
Thank you 🙏 All glory to God! I sampled the vocals onto the LoFi-6 and programmed them into different patterns. The different patterns were triggered during the live performance. Except the part I played directly from the tape cassette player, I queued up the part I wanted and pressed play during a pattern change. But everything was done live and recorded in one shot, nothing added later. Thanks for your feedback. God bless!
@@drabmongoose thankyou for the breakdown. A very nice and unique take.
Great music, but the gospel for the dispensation of grace today is this: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Thanks for your feedback. I felt compelled to add John 3:16-21 to a beat. I never claimed it was “the gospel for the dispensation of grace today”, I simply quoted the scripture that was on my heart and mind at the time. If you have an issue with those verses you know who to take it up with. Hope all is well with you, GOD bless!
@@drabmongoose No harm intended. Glad to see a musician quoting God's word regardless. God takes this issue up in His holy word. Are we aware of it? Galatians 1:8-9 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
@@BishopEddie5443 No harm done. I don’t know much about dispensationalism. I understand it as a way of interpreting the Bible by dividing it into sections of “dispensations” which are like different timeframes that define the way God interacts with man. Are you opposed to preaching the gospel of John? John 3:16-21 is the retelling of words that Jesus spoke to Nicodemus in regard to salvation. Are you suggesting that reciting these verses equates to preaching a gospel that differs from the one Paul is referring to in Galatians 1:8-9?
Love your work!
Thank you! I really appreciate that!
You have some great videos btw, just subbed!
@@drabmongoose Thank you so much it means a lot! 👍

Lovely work on this D M !
Thanks very much! 🙏 Your ambient music is great, just subbed.
Thx much @@drabmongoose !
Good stuff. Literally the other day I remembered I need to buy a small tape player...the last one I bought was too fancy and literally died unexpectedly in less than a year...😅
Thanks man! Aw bummer, Ive had a few die on me too. The older ones usually need a belt replacement or re-capping. You have some cool videos, I just subbed. I do some circuit bending too. Thanks for the feedback 🙏
The coolest video you've made to date...😎
Thank you 🙏 appreciate that!
People complaining about Sonicware liven don't get it. They're amazing this jam proves it ;)
Thanks 🙏 I’ve heard the saying “It’s not the tool, it’s how you use it” but Sonicware has some cool tools! Nice animations btw, just subbed 👍
I'm new to the groovebox world, what types of cables and speakers would be preferable for this setup?
It really depends on how you want your setup. When I make a beat with the Mega I just use a set of headphones (I’m currently using an old pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50x). When I record to my comp I use the Universal Audio Volt 476P as my audio interface. The Volt connects to my laptop using a USB-C cable and the Mega connects to the Volt using a splitter cable (1/8 inch TRS Stereo to Dual 1/4 inch TS Mono Y-Splitter Cable) in order to record both left and right channels simultaneously. If you want to sync with other devices you’ll need a midi cable or a sync cable (1/8 TS Male to 1/8 TS Male) depending on what you’re syncing to. For speakers to start with I recommend something in the Yamaha HS Series or KRK Rokit Series in whatever size you prefer. Hope this helps!
@@drabmongoose Thank you for the in depth response. Appreciate your guidance.
nice! the mega synth is so cool
It is a cool little synth 😎 Thank you for your feedback! 🙏
i have the mega synth on the way and it's nice to see people using it with other things. most vids i've seen so far are just the mega on it's own, which it does nicely, but i'm excited to see how it works not as the main focus, but as a piece of the puzzle. you make it sound amazing :)
Thank you! 🙏🙏🙏 Yes a piece of the puzzle is a great way to look at it. It syncs well with the LoFi-6 but I haven’t synced it with anything else yet. I’m building a studio space in my garage so most of my gear isn’t setup right now, but I plan on using it alongside my MPC and other stuff. 😁
fire
Thanks man! 🙏
I really want to buy this but i have never used anything like it before. Would you recommend for newcomers?
Well I don’t want to persuade you into buying something you might not want, so first you should watch some tutorial vids on it to get a good idea of how it works. But in my opinion it’s a fun box and easy to use. It has a decent amount of preset sounds and programming patterns to the sequencer is fairly simple. It has some functionality that can be complicated for a beginner (like editing custom FM sounds) but you don’t have to dig into those features in order to make something. I recommend it.
I'm getting Skeleton Crew for Amiga ost vibes.
The soundtrack of Skeleton Krew is awesome! That’s a great compliment, thank you! 🙏
lol one of the last Genesis games I played through...very cool game.
Damn bro this that unda the unda type shit. Id roll around with a blunt at midnight to this

Love your work. i got a question? I love this type sound is it possible to make a beat like this with this machine ua-cam.com/video/aZzhHmLyTXY/v-deo.htmlsi=hES8k2E2STW-RGO3 Pls let me know Thank You for time
Hey thanks! You’d be able to make the video game type synth sounds with it, but I think you’d have to use something else to get the sound of those drums.
Deep moody but very nice gonna get one too😎
Thank you for the feedback! 🙏 It's a cool synth 😎

Will smith should be rapping over this lol
LMAO! Too corny huh?
@@drabmongoose😂 maybe a little. Has that 90s groove bass tone to it. I’m a fan of really dirty, evil sounding mega drive music, like the final boss in sonic 3. Can’t wait til my one of these arrives! Just subbed 😊
5:23 is more like it!
😂 Yeah I can hear what you mean. What can I say I’m a 90’s kid (1983). I’ll have to refresh my memory on the sonic 3 final boss I’ll check that out. Thanks for the feedback man I appreciate it! Just subbed back!
Wow awesome device and session! It seems a proper chiptune maker but what about achieveing crushed gritty drums in NES style? Thanks for sharing! Subscribed for more 👍
niiiiiice
Thanks 🙏
I was thinking: are all these variations in one pattern? But then I saw you switching to different patterns everytime. Let me guess: the name of every pattern is "P2.01"? 😛 I got my unit today in the mail, can't wait to give it a spin!
Yeah they're all named the same. I need to clean that up so I can remember what's what! 😆 Nice man, it's a fun little synth.
Ordered one during the third round of shipments, ships out Feb 5th. Stellar jam! this makes me so excited for mine. I've been a fan of electronic music, synths and Sega for a long time!
Nice! I'm a fan of those Sega sounds too. I also modified a Gameboy that I use with LSDJ and Nanoloop, I'll have to make some videos soon. I’ll keep an eye out for your posts. Thanks for the feedback I appreciate it!

reminds me of the beginning of the game Kingpin: Life of crime. Cypress Hill. :)
Yo I just looked it up, you’re right that’s crazy. That baseline is so similar! 🤯
I want one of these so bad! Sounds killer! 🔥🔥🔥
Yeah I love those old video game sounds. Thanks!
