Hello friend my w211 om642 have same problem but it happened after deleting the dpf but i didn't tune car yet , the problem is different here after car get fully warm up then it smoke on idle and the smell is very bad. according to me my egr system needed to clean or get ride of it. Because the exhaust pressure drops because there no more dpf. Or should I throw back dpf in car again.
h4, h11 ba yung ilaw niyan?
Mine has the exact same smoking problem but only when im driving and starting to accelerate like 15%-30% acceleration, at idle, reving whilst stationary or accelerating hard when driving there is no smoke
Same issue, OM642 W211 2009.
mine will randomly cut out and when i punch the dash it turns back on
Same thing on my Subaru. By hand, doesn’t squeak in the direction of rotation, but squeaks in opposite direction
Bad pcv valve I think.
Start of my old Ford Mondeo Mk3 TDCI: stepping in - first turn of the starter and the engine is running
Nice! Looks good as new 🙌
Yea wondering if there is a fix besides reolacing completely
I saw a video where someone replaced just the bearing but it might depend on the alternator model, if the bearing is attached to the whole piece or not
2 years dang. Is that normal?
Nope, not at all. I'll elaborate in my next video what went down!
It was in a crate and got as dirty as this? Jeez. Did they leave it next to a quarry or something?!
😂 It didn't have a top piece. I had no idea it was going to end up being a 2 yr debacle to get my bike back. Figured it was a 2 week process. Ended up taking 2 yrs.
@@norontboyz5949 Nightmare! Is there a part 2 where she's looking as good as new again?
Working on it as of now! I apologize with my busy schedule I haven't had time to edit everything. Hopefully within the next day or two I'll be posting another video!
@@norontboyz5949 No problem. I can imagine it took quite some time to get her shiny again!
Awesome!
Enjoy your bike bro. Ride safe 👍
Thanks for the kind words!
👍
Awesome video 🙌
Did you just end up replacing it?
For your cars does the accumulator bleed all the brake fluid back to the reservoir after some time, lets say overnight?
Yes it does. That is by design.
Hello. I bought a 2008 pajero almost a year ago and have experiencing same problem. When I just bought it, a flushed the brake fluid and the noise stoped. But recently, working on the rear brake calipers I mindless pressed the pedal with the right rear caliper off its place and the piston came out, leaking fluid all over. Then I flushed all fluid once again, bleeded all 4 corners and the relief valve noise showed up again. Will bleed the rears again and if it doesnt work, will see closer the accumulator. Hope you guys solved the noise in your Pajeros for good. Lets keep in touch. Cheers
So far, mine is working good!
For anyone wondering, i never solved the issue as i was leaving the country and sold the vehicle. I am leading to believe it was either a fuel injector issue, or clogged intake manifold as the exhausy smelled very bad like unburnt diesel. I wish everyone the best!
My wife and I drove up from Toronto on a Saturday to see the car. We liked it. My wife loved the colour. You're correct...he had it listed for $16,000. That was "aspirational" to be sure. I offered him $10,000. He said that for that price, "he'd keep it and give it to one of his kids". Apparently he changed his mind. I wound up finding a 2010 Canadian version of the car in London, Ont that only had 70,000 km at the time. Paid $15,000 for that one. Still have it, just turned over 200,000 km.
What is the belt number
I have them listed in the description: A/C Belt Part Number: 4PK712 Serpentine Drive Belt Part Number: 5PK980
I solved the problem. Bad connectors on the MAP and MAF sensor. The error was cleared and the smoke and smell are gone.
OBD scanner would show such error no problem. in my case no such errors.
How did you solve it?
Kaya pla di ko ma tanggal2x ang headlight kailangan pla baklasin talaga ang plastic cover.. salamat sa video boss.
I have the same problem. When the car is on reserve, there is no smoke. It does not throw any errors on the computer.
What do you mean on reserve?
Small world. I tried to buy that exact car from Mr. Kennedy in Sudbury in May 2019 when it was for sale. Couldn't agree on a price. Very unusual uncommon colour. The US specs and lack of cold weather package was a concern as well, but obviously it starts.
No way! I think I remember him having it listed for $16k? We agreed at $10k. It served us well till I moved overseas 2 yrs ago!
Hello I had same issue, you could try bleeding brakes, this was my first issue maybe 2 years ago and it helped, but now I have this issue again, accumulator cant hold pressure and brake fluid flow to reservoir and pump starts every 5sec. I tried bleeding brakes, but it does not help, so I want remove accumulator and check it.
I seem to have fixed my issue. There was 2 small metal pieces in the hole where the Accumulator screws in underneath the valve and spring that's placed in there. I used a magnetic screwdriver to get those out, then cleaned the hole with a cloth. Reinstalled and it's back to normal! I would try removing the Accumulator to ensure nothing is stuck in there. You may have an accumulator fault if this doesn't help. I tested my accumulator by putting a screwdriver into it to try to push it's piston by hand, but it was rock solid. If it moves, your accumulator is faulty. To check your master cylinder, idle the engine and hold the brake pedal. If it slowly sinks to the floor, you might have an internal fault in the HBB. Good luck!
The metal got there because of a bad thread on a used accumulator I tried installing.
@@norontboyz5949 Nice, I bought this metal pipe and spring what is under accumulator, I need to make some tool to remove accumulator and check this pipe and spring and thread, tomorrow I want check, if there is any error codes. I will update if I found issue Did you bleed brakes or accumulator after remove?
So far, I have not had to bleed them. My father and I made our own tool out of a metal bracket to fit into the two small grooves ontop of the Accumulator, and welded an old socket onto it.
@@norontboyz5949 Hello, I have update, I made tool and removed accumulator, it looks good, I cant push it inside its rock hard so I think accumulator is OK, then I cleaned thread, I found small metal piece maybe its from thread, cleaned it and put new tube and spring and this old accumulator, pump motor pressurized accumulator and it was OK (no hissing sound), so I thought its solved, but when I press brake pedal, it was hissing again, so I bleed rear brakes and now its OK (no hissing), I think there was some air anywhere. Now when I press brake pedal 5x its starts pumping ( this is right), so I think I solved it.
Are you find the problem?
They need serious help mate
Haha tell me about it 😅
Wtf

It was a 95
Did you fix the problem? I have the same problem with cls 320 cdi 224hp white smoke widhout burning oil or antifrize 😢😢😢
wrong timming
If the exhaust smells like unburnt diesel, have the injectors tested. I got rid of the car as I was leaving country
@@norontboyz5949🤣🤣🤣🤣 i sold minr as well garbage engine
@kitchenforbeginnars did you end up finding the problem?
Sorry for the video just not explaining anything everyone. Badly titled. Please view my 2 previous videos for more symptoms of what the car was doing. In short, after adding some fuel additives, replacing the fuel filter, cleaning the injectors, deleting the dpf and Def system and tuning it out, the issue never went away. I got some 'used' injectors off eBay, bit the vehicle ran even worse and actually began misfiring when driving. The exhaust fumes did change though. We sold the vehicle to auction after as we were leaving the country and never had the time to fix it. However, I believe 100% that a brand new set of injectors properly calibrated would have solved the issue. However, before spending all that money, it would be best to have the vehicle checked out by an expert. Thanks all!
I have the same problem on my 2011 GL 350 Cdi. One minute there is white smoke...after 5 minutes smoke is gone and again it starts. What could be the cause of this???
Fuel injectors, or injector.
Did yiu get it sorted? I have the exact same issue with my s350cdi
Yes i did. I did my research and found out that i needed to replace my ECU. I got a good second hand ECU and boom.... the smoke is gone. @mihaiandreidan858
Did you solved
did you find the problem?
ı had same problem in my jeep which has om642 engine. problem was found in ecu. ecu send different signal to furl injectors.ı changed ecu and my problem solved. before change to ecu ı tried to repair my injector according to engineer’s advise.ı deleted my dpf .but ı learned that these engines’ injectors are very sensetive and can not be repaired. if you need a injector you must change them with new and original mercedes injector
Hey dude., thanks alot. I did the same. Changed injectors still no solution, deleted DPF no solution. Then took your advice and changed ecu.... man you believe it. The problem is gone. I don't know how to thank you man. Thank you very very much. I can now enjoy my car😊
@@evanslwambula3907it good news. I am happy for u my friend.
But the problem of smoke in your cases guys were constant or the car got back to normal after few minutes? I have this engine in vito and it smokes like hell few minutes then it runs normally. Usually it smokes in first minutes of drive when the engine is cold.

Al final cual fue el problema!!!!! Gracias

3.0 diesel best engine :
What are you smoking? It’s possibly the worst engine known to man. Oil cooler 100% for sure will leak in every car. Timing chains and ramps will always fail. Water pump will always fail. Crank case vapors get sucked in with poor PCV valve. Engine is 100% certain to leak, it’s a dreadful engine
It is not a reliable engine.
