Jordan Donica - On the Street Where You Live (My Fair Lady)
0:18 Was Anne even acting here?
delightful for the ears
Thanks for the forecast! I have a quick question: My OKX wallet holds USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (tag suit turtle raccoon orange fever main skull special hungry crystal mixture) . How can I transfer them to Binance?
Jordan, you're killing it! So glad to see your success, and so glad to have watched you grow and learn in your career! It's a pleasure to have known you.
Great singing unfortunately hos British accent needs work. His vowel sound are all over the place and he's placing the stres on some very strange places
Patti is great but this version doesn’t seem to get at the heart of the song to me. Barbara Walsh’s version sung with rough voice and in a drunken matter and really revealing the self loathing at the end with girls who just watch line makes much more sense to me. Here the everybody rise at the end is triumphant where in Walsh’s version it’s desperate and out of control.
I like the choices Patti made in the version with Neil Patrick Harris (where she has on a black pantsuit, it it was uploaded like 12 years ago) a bit more than this one
Extraordinary!
Toasting so many times and seemingly never actually taking a sip... It's all an act without a lick of sincerity, God she is brilliant. I know she's probably not taking a sip as an actress busy singing, but it would also make sense for the character to be faking it.
Thank You Lord and Mr. Donica!! This man sings with such precise articulation, emotion, and timing that it's just a privilege to hear him sing! I'm just limp like a piece of helpless meat!!
Here for the queen of cups.

She's incredible, insane ❤
This is art
Saw Jordan in MFL and as Lancelot. He's a brilliant singer with one of the most amazing voices I've ever heard.
She’s the bestest
Agatha All Along brought me here too my very long Patti Lapone ROAD!!!
I'm so jealous! I wish I could experience the Ms Lapone for the first time 🥰 Try her in Evita if you haven't yet 💖
Too good…. Just too good. Sondheim was surrounded with the greats who could really do justice to his work.
I may forever question Sondheim's decision to update the "Copy of Life/Copy of Time" line, but the sheer brilliance of having "Here's to the girls who just watch, aren't they the best?" be delivered TO Bobbie is so staggering it makes it worth it.
I'd like to propose the toast Here's to the ladies who lunch Everybody laugh Lounging in their caftans and planning a brunch On their own behalf Off to the gym, then to a fitting Claiming they're fat And looking grim 'cause they've been sitting Choosing a hat Does anyone still wear a hat? I'll drink to that Here's to the girls who stay smart Aren't they a gas? Rushing to their classes in optical art Wishing it would pass Another long exhausting day Another thousand dollars A matinée, a Pinter play Perhaps a piece of Mahler's I'll drink to that And one for Mahler Here's to the girls who play wife Aren't they too much? Keeping house but clutching a copy of life Just to keep in touch The ones who follow the rules And meet themselves at the schools Too busy to know that they're fools Aren't they a gem? I'll drink to them Let's all drink to them And here's to the girls who just watch Aren't they the best? When they get depressed, it's a bottle of Scotch Plus a little jest Another chance to disapprove Another brilliant zinger Another reason not to move Another vodka stinger I'll drink to that So here's to the girls on the go Everybody tries Look into their eyes and you'll see what they know Everybody dies A toast to that invincible bunch The dinosaur surviving the crunch Let's hear it for the ladies who lunch Everybody rise, rise Rise, rise Rise, rise Rise, rise Rise
Who is this gorgeous man!?
I've been more impressed by Ms. LuPone year after year. She handles this song better each time I've seen her perform it. Wow!
I love how they updated the lyrics to girls in their prime instead of girls who play wife.
I’m unsure why they did this though?
@@alexanderbowen5172its so they could swap out Life magazine with time magazine two lines after Just a change to make it more contemporary Im fine with both though i am obviously used to the old version and didnt care that nobody reads Life anymore (does it even still exist?)
So nice💖
It's a shame we'll never see the true greats doing this together: Patti and Raul.
Excellent. I just discovered Company last year, while working on my first musical. My biggest "problem" is that all musical numbers I've seen are just one space for the characters to "do a song". But except for "Side by Side", I was missing some "acting", specially when the productions I've seen here have AWESOME actors on it. Even Patti Lupone! She made a production with a Symphonic Orchestra, and as great as she is, it's just her doing a rendition of the song instead of "acting". Real question, are directors afraid of directing her? Because here it seems like the director just told her "please "act" the song", and she did. And did GREAT.
I have often walked down this street before But the pavement always stayed beneath my feet before All at once am I several stories high Knowing I'm on the street where you live Are there lilac trees in the heart of town? Can you hear a lark in any other part of town? Does enchantment pour out of every door? No, it's just on the street where you live And oh, the towering feeling Just to know somehow you are near The overpowering feeling That any second you may suddenly appear People stop and stare, they don't bother me For there's nowhere else on earth That I would rather be Let the time go by, I won't care if I Can be here on the street where you live People stop and stare, they don't bother me For there's nowhere else on earth That I would rather be Let the time go by, I won't care if I Can be here on the street where you live Can be here on the street where you live Can be here on the street where you live
Also, those dress and earrings, tho! What a great performance of an iconic role, refreshed and revised again.
I would just like to point out she's belting like this while sitting down.
Just put him in everything!😮
Wow. Just wow.
Is this is the Smithsonian yet?
really cool stuff
Love Jordan in this role. His voice is fabulous! Love it!
This song and “Somewhere” from WSS are my 2 favorite show tunes.
I think this might be the best version of this song I've ever heard, this man is magical my God
Would love to see him on Broadway….what a treat!
Who’s Bobbie here?
Katrina Lenk!!
This song has never been sung better!
I LOVE Katrina Lenk's interaction in this. It makes it better
This man amazing... this man has it all... and what a voice!
I was front Mezz. Praying she’d stop the show
It's my favourite song. Promise
her genius, she looks a mess! a fur coat? and that wig!

Wonderful voice! 🤗
So fortunate to see Jordan Donica @ Lincoln Center as Sir Lancelot in “Camelot.” His performance live was absolutely mesmerizing!
Fabulous 😊
Jordan Donica gives a worthy rendition of On The Street Where You Live!
SO nice to see a young talented man sing as singing should be! Beautiful and well-done!
Well said ....❤❤❤...
Give it a year! He is SPECTACULAR!!!
