    Not only that, but also his equipment allows him to hit the ball with full power. W968 has the highest ceiling with spin and power.

    Thanks for this video. Could you do a video on the game style of push, block and counter? As an older player playing a lot of younger players, I try to be as efficient as possible and get the ball back on the table at all costs. Thanks.

    Hi Kush, I played against an opponent who employed the first tactic against me repeatedly throughout the 3 sets. I lost as his third ball very strong. How should I had returned the ball to make it difficult for him?

    • @kushbaveja
      @kushbaveja 4 години тому

      @ameykhairnar5582, keep the ball short from his serve (don't push long). then look for openings to try and attack first (flick or wait for him to push long - then loop). if you have trouble keeping the ball short, try pushing deep and long to his backhand side and hope for a weaker return. make sure to vary what you do though.

    Hi Kush, what is the best timing and way to attack a long heavy push? Normally players lift this kind of ball up a bit too much and it gets punched or they just dump it in the net. Also, should you still try to loop this kind of ball if say you were late?

    • @kushbaveja
      @kushbaveja День тому

      It depends what is comfortable for you. If you loop, then it’s important to give yourself space (between you and the table) when you play

    Ye i like to make a long fast serve into their backhand too but with some backspin so they cant just block it but have to play actively, leads to a lot of errors or easy balls to attack. Problem with pivot is not only if they return down the line but if u go try to kill the 3rd Ball down the line and they somehow manage to block it they will naturally and very easily block it into your empty forhand. As for combinations i like reverse pendulum short back/side spin into their forehand and then open with backhand strongly. Or pendulum with side(+under or top) curving into their elbow, with a lot of sidespin it curves a lot and if u position it well it curves from their forhand into their backhand leading to a lot of surprise and indecision and weak returns to kill with strong forhand loop then. Can also be long and they try to loop but will be hard on their elbow leading to direct errors.

    For me Ma Long is the GOAT because of his consistency and longevity but IMO Zhang Jike is the only one who can match Ma Long’s power and precision. I like Zhang Jike more because of his style and IMO he’s more complete than Ma Long’s especially with his deadly BH. I like ZJ’s style of play more and his mental strength is the best IMO

      @mokgable Місяць тому

      @geofroggo yea I don't think I have a different style of play, but after trying some different ones I do see why some people use some over the others. I have just tried my first tensor rubber (yinhe big dipper) and I can see why people put this on the BH side. I do not like it on my FH, I always hit past the table. I may stick with my Chinese tacky on my FH and switch to this big dipper tensor on my BH.
