My child had a huge one on his genitals and i applied a hot washrag on it twice a day for about 5 days. This morning when i lifted him i saw some green pus seeping out and i got my alcohol, neosporin equivalent, pads, and tissue. I held him and had to squeeze it 4 times. Im TELLING YOU. I wasnt sick, but couldnt believe it. Guacamole color and consistency pus that smelled like dead flesh and the worst poop. He squealed a bit, but rested with me the rest of the day. The opening was a small flap where the dead skin and healthy skin met. He was cleaned again at night. The sweet baby at least had relief. He knew he wasnt right and was stinking. My sweet child.❤❤❤

That wasn't an infection. That was a large blackhead!! That's the reason it was so hard to pop and the stuff had to come out the side. That was a huge blackhead! Never thought one would get that big on a rat!

It’s probably better to leave the scab be. Since now all the gross stuff is out now. Picking at the crusty scab will take the skin longer to heal and the hair grow back.

And all that poking with a needle for it to burst somewhere else ur ment to warm compress and soften the scab and pierce the scab not her flesh

Was this perhaps a cyst caused by a zymbal’s gland tumour? My rat had something *very* similar in basically the same spot and we figured out it’s from a zymbal’s gland tumour
