I grew up in Rye during the 50s and 60s. Couldn’t have had a better childhood. Growing up there, between both grandparents numerous uncles, aunts and older cousins, there were ten families we were related to. Two generations later, not one single person still lives there. Sad. We used to spend a lot of days playing at what used to be Fort Dearborn.

Now i want to try these donuts he-he-he

I grew up with the owners of Heritage Farm. One of my cousins is married to Matt's sister. I worked my first high school jobs at Steele Hill. I even babysat the owner, Jason, when his dad Billy ran the place. My dad ran the mill near that Franklin water park. And my dad grew up in a big house in Tilton on the lot where Kettlehead Brewery now stands. I have been living in Thailand for the past 27 years. Haven't visited home in nearly a decade so it's nice to catch up with the old stomping grounds and so many places that have a deep personal connection. Great episode.

Wife n I travel often from Madison to do the 1A coastal route.. Rye harba is a fave .. Pete's for lunch and head home.. Love the M.W.Valley but coast also..Great spreading the GREAT scenery in N.H.

Great video of Pittsburgh. Very professional. I have to say that New Hampshire is like a second home to me. I've been visiting that state around the lakes region on up to Comway ever since I was a child. However I have only been to Pittsburgh once over 30 years ago fly fishing. After watching this video I see that area has changed a bit yet still retains the North country feel without having grown into a commercial prospect. I am definitely going to plan a trip there sometime soon. Thanks again for a great presentation of that area of the wonderful state of New Hampshire.
