I noticed Cranmore. I skied in the White Mountains many years ago and ski areas were about one thing: skiing, and everyone knew that. Now, at least I'm assuming from changes at Cranmore, there's lots of activities that seem to be geared to keeping people entertained if I can put it that way. Same thing on cruise ships. Back in the day people went on ocean liners for a quiet, relaxing sail with good food and comfortable quarters. Now cruise ships look like floating amusement parks - again - to keep people entertained. I'm not sure it's a good development.
