If you want to install Linux on your SSD, you have to do everything again. The confusion you had is because you had unformatted free space on your HDD and Ubuntu used it. When you reinstall, select the correct drive.

You can. Use the existing Windows 11 partition and reinstall it. After the installation is complete, Windows 11 will be the default operating system, so change the boot priority and set OpenSUSE first to choose which operating system to boot from GRUB. Regards

@@quickandeasytools Thanks a lot for the tip. I replaced old Windows 11 partition with a new one. Surprisingly the boot order remained unchanged. The system still loads from GRUB with Opensuse as default.

Keep in mind that the installer initially requires an update. After you confirm the update, the installer closes, and you have to start it again to continue. @@quickandeasytools never mind, i try normal install without WiFI + basic drivers (WiFI) but - image in faster disk (10Gbps interface) - USB3.2 Gen 2 - real speed around 1gbps, install superfast and works perfect

I always prefer to shrink the Windows C partition with Windows Disk Manager because it is the safest way for Windows. You can also use Gpart on PopOS to shrink it, but the process may not proceed as expected. Greetings
