Sxl is straight trash without mods

As much as SXL can be good it needs an unfathomable amount of modding work to get out its full potential. Not to mention how terrible they manage their community feedback. In game stat menu has been begged for, for years and they’ve ignored it. All this while posting ads that use the mods CREATED BY US THE COMMUNITY.

Aah good job buddy. You took out Nukes with Aroras and never took a nuke hit. Nice. I took a nuke hit but the AI placed it in a dumb place. My front lines defences survived and I regained. I went straight up PC's early game. Anyways dude GG's.

In the Philippines, the Zero Hour Reborn mod has been popular in cybercafes since time immemorial. It switches up every general to the max and gives them hilariously ridiculous abilities.

Generals is really good

Try out Shockwave mod for an experience that's close to Zero hour but really improved Try Rise of the Reds (a later project made by the shockwave team that's still being developed) if you want an even more enhanced experience with new factions (it's also very polished) Try The End of Days (TEOD) if you want an experience similar to the real world yet still zero hour-esque

I never had the pleasure of playing generals, Red Alert 2 and Tiberium wars were a blast back in the day though. Have you ever played Total Annihilation? It was released around the same time as starcraft but was pretty ahead of its time. It still has a pretty active community too with people updating the game engine with big fixes and the like, and a pretty active modding community.

Yes this game is amazing, but it really shines in multiplayer. I would love to see a video on multiplayer. There are so many cool strats and interesting army matchups that make this game super repayable imho. It's not his super precise as starcraft, but its a little more sandboxy with projectiles that can be blocked by buildings or miss which adds a bit of fun randomness for casual matches. All this game really needs are some QOL updates that you described, and to fix the muliplayer connection issues and bugs and it would have a much larger playerbase. There is a small team led by youtuber Xezon that is actually around 50% into reverse engineering this game (since they don't have the source code), and one they're finished, they can easily fix all of these bugs. The project is called "thyme" and it's on github if anyone experienced in c++ wants to help

since you are already using gentool, you have to use control bar pro which is available in genpatcher you used to apply fixes and installing the hotkey profile the old control bar almost take third the screen

I mean, at least make it 7 randoms, tank has no long range units, which makes it ridiculous on a map with one small entry playing as SWG. might as well make them 100 tank hard armies and wouldnt make any difference to the end result.

Archon mode used to be all the top gamers now its just trolls and noobs.

I am actually legit grand master in archon mode.

This is exactly how its done in heroes of the storm. You dont even need a separate computer as the designers allow you to run multiple instances of the game.
