    The last part looks repetitive. Mountains aren't the same without showing wildlife.

    • @DoubleDrsLife
      @DoubleDrsLife Місяць тому

      That is a very good point. You make me realized that we barely saw wildlife while we were there! Interesting. Maybe because the road is build along the mountain cliff, and we didn't really stay at a camp sight, we couldn't really get deep inside to see some wild life during the short time while we were there. Hope we can have some other chance to explore more in the future. You can check their official website for more information if you are interested. www.blueridgeparkway.org/ Have a good one :)

So I made these buns last night, and they did not only look like the ones in Chengdu, they also tasted similar! Thank you so much!!! 🙂

      @@owodunnimaryam2700 The flour is 300g. There is also a full ingredients list under of the video. Small amount of sugar in water at the beginning can help the yeast to wake up. However, there is a lot of sugar in the recipe. The sugar will take away the water in the dough before the yeast. So putting all the brown sugar in water will suppress the yeast to rise. That's why we add sugar when the dough is already raised. 😊 Here is the ingredient list. 300g all purpose flour 180g-200g water 3g yeast 90g brown sugar 10g sugar 1/2 tsp baking soda (2g) 1/4 tsp baking powder (1g) 1/8 tsp salt (0.5g)

    would it be better to pass the mixture through a fine sieve

    • @DoubleDrsLife
      @DoubleDrsLife 2 роки тому

      It might be. There are very thin fibers in mango. But it's a lot of work since you can see the mixture is very thick. The texture is already very smooth and you won't feel the fibers. The biggest enemy to the nice smooth texture is big ice crystal. So it matters more if you use hand mixer to blend it more frequently. If you really want to do it, I suggest you blend fresh mango, pass though a fine sieve, then freeze and use a hand mixer break the big ice crystals every couple hours. That would be easier.

    Sorry, but this is not a Western dish. It's a dish invented by Campbell's soup to sell the gloppy stuff way back in the 1950s or 1960s. If you're going to do Western food, please do some research and find actual Western dishes. This is not one of them. By the way, what's the channel name all about?
