Sir you have clearly explained. I am sorry to ask this question after 2 years. I want to use this method to pump water from Underground Sump to Overhead tank, in an apartment building . Sump is 12 feet in depth . The pipe runs along a wall horizontal to the ground for 30 feet . Then it goes up along the building (vertical) for 60 feet ( from ground to OH tank) . There are around 8 bends (joint) . So total height sump depth + building height including OH tank is 72 feet. Pipe size 2 inches . Flow rate needed is 3000 to 4000 LPH at the OH Tank side Can you please recommend a suitable system . Thanks

Excellent presentation of various solar system n process. Installed domestic purpose only 2kw on grid solar system in my house in Coimbatore in March. Total expense initial approval charges to TANGEDCO, cost of system installation by vendors, cost of bi directional meter and additional civil works to firm up panel structure in concrete bedding plus earth rod installation pits etc was 1.3lakhs. With govt subsidy but subsidy details etc are not known except approved vendors cost was similar between competitive bidders. Didn’t bother much about this issue. After installation we have to sign a contract with tangedco, usual template text of contracts. Later in a months time tangedco installed a bidirectional meter. Only day time energy production goes via inverter to meter n all load used in the house ie metered as import and energy produced is fed in the grid as export units in kWh, surplus units will be displayed after import units as net credit. Now my solar energy for the Past 4 months was almost equal to import, minimal surplus available. On an average for 120 days since installation energy produced is 8.25kwh, best output 11.5kwh on a sunny day, lowest past week 4kwh. For 2kw system if the consumption is less than production Tangedco charges 210rs bimonthly, don’t know how they arrive this figure. Excess units in our ac will be accumulated n on March 31st every year this will become null and void, this is what explained to me. As you said in concluding remarks, solar installation will not be a substitute for monthly bills in a big way but on the environmental, green energy concept we contribute less pollution in the best possible social awareness mindset. Trying to share my experience in the same way you presented your video with all 3 variants pros and cons of the system, good work keep it up for general public awareness.
