Not quite my cup of tea to be honest, but it is not hard to say that it is an excellent job still. And great to see that someone cares for the ECS chip set still. One little thing that really interested me was the VU meter to the left of the machine. Would it be possible to update the description with any details on that pretty please with sugar on top?

That was funny! The ST was a full panic "lets get it out now" situation. It was developed in less than 6 months. They did not have time to develop custom chips etc. The end result: That Atari had an 8mhz 68000 CPU, The Amiga had a 7.16mhz 68000 CPU, (they set it at that speed for better NTSC compatibility. The Atari had a built in MIDI port, The Amiga did not come with one, you had to spend $25-50 for a midi port adapter. The Atari could display 16 colors out of 512. The Amiga could display 32 out of 4096 colors or 64 out of 4096 colors in Extra Half Brite mode, ( take the 32 colors you have picked and it will allow all you to add all of those at half the brightness with ZERO performance loss). It can also display 4096 colors in HAM mode or Sliced HAM, (neither is very practical for games). There are limitations on the 4096 Colors on screen at once. In HAM, (hold and modify), mode each color information from the pixel next to it. In Sliced HAM, they re-define the color palette every scan line, The Amiga has hardware accelerated graphics, the ST does not. The Amiga has the first "Fully Pre-Emptive Operating System on a Home Computer", (ST fans would ask, "Why would anyone want to run more that one program at a time??"). The Sound Chip on the Amiga was vastly superior to the Pokey Sound Chip on the ST. I guess this is getting too long. Bottom Line, the Atari ST was developed in an insanely short period of time. It was a great computer and a great price. What really made us Amiga users mad was ever present "Lazy Atari ST Port" games. They would make a game on the ST, then do a crappy port to the Amiga where they just use the CPU for all the work. No Custom Chips are used to enhance game play. It gave us that, "wow, they could have hired someone who knows how to program an Amiga". Yes I have several STs and Amigas in my collection. The ST and Amiga made home computer a Dream compared to the competition.

You don't expect an Amiga 500 Plus to look brand new and still have the Commodore logo with those adaptations! It's as if an agreement has been made with Commodore showing the B-52's and reverse engineering!

It should be ATARI grey.

The biggest issue with these is the custom chips. If building these depletes the stocks of spares then ultimately it is counter-productive. For rebuilding an A500+ that's been destroyed by a leaking battery then the new PCBs are useful.

Nice color, all though it was difficult to tell on the video cover image. I actually thought the case was just yellowed at first glance. Dark red, dark orange or dark purple would’ve also looked excellent.
