Driving Pedals as Rudder/Anti Torque Pedals. Works in X-Plane, MSFS, Falcon BMS etc.
In this video, I show you how to use the pedals of the Logitech G29 Driving Wheel as rudder pedals (airplanes) or anti torque pedals (helicopters) in X-Plane 11/12, MSFS2024, Falcon BMS etc.
For MSFS2020, use the method in this video:

If you have a different driving wheel, there should be a similar way to do this.
Please note that the actual testing is done in X-Plane 12 as I don't have (and won't have) MSFS2024 and I'm sure you will be able to figure out how to do it in any flight simulator.

This was super helpful, but you dont need to single axis in msfs 2024, there are separate axis for right and left.
I'm not on MSFS2024. I made this video after receiving requests from many viewers who were saying that only single axis is available in MSFS2024. If separate axis are available as in MSFS2020, it's even better as it allows for clutch pedal to be used as left anti torque pedal which is more convenient for me.

Using this option no, not for the logitech G29 afaik but you can use Joystick Gremlin and Vjoy to do that. I did that a long time ago so I don't remember the steps but you can search on the internet. I personally prefer to use the clutch pedal as left rudder/anti torque pedal as this allows for a more comfortable position of the feet compared to gas-brake pedals. Some people don't like to use additional software like Gremlin and Vjoy and prefer combined pedals. ADDITIONAL NOTES: If you are on MSFS 2020, you can assign the pedals individually so no need for combined pedals or Gremlin/Vjoy and if you are on Xplane 11/12. there is a script that allows you do use the toe brakes as pedals and again no need for combined pedals or Gremlin/Vjoy. Unfortunately, MSFS 2024 will require either combined pedals or Gremlin/Vjoy, same as Falcon BMS.

You can use your driving pedals in flight sims requiring single axis for pedals, including MSFS2024 using the method explained in this video: ua-cam.com/video/YSCIYAwadrE/v-deo.html Thanks to @tbird3685 for pointing this out to me.
As pointed out in the video. I can only use Crosshair V2 in fullscreen mode with the DirectX 12 API and unfortunately for Vulkan it works only in windowed mode. Problem is in windowed mode, the game stutters but is otherwise smooth in fullscreen. However, I'm getting better visuals with Vulkan and some issues, especially the ambient lights with DirectX 12. I had to choose DirectX 12 though as it's the only way to get the crosshair in fullscreen mode. The graphics used in the video is DirectX 12. Crosshair V2 is free. The paid version is Crosshair X which I don't have. I still don't think you will be able to get the crosshair in fullscreen Vulkan API even with the paid version so I just want someone to confirm if this is the case.
@@JohnMarston-b7j You mean the Crosshair V2 one? Capture the game in OBS to get it not appear on the recording. To get the Crosshair visible, capture the screen.

The Mack Anthem. Mirrors are a big issue in this simulator and this truck kind of give you a better view in the mirrors because of their size

This question has already been asked and I have already replied. See comments below. May be I should add it to the title itself. I'm not and won't be on MSFS2024 and it doesn't work in games where the bindings for pedals are single axis like MSFS2024.
It does work you just have to enable 'Combined Pedals' in your ghub and use that axis for Rudder Axis

Apparently it doesn't work in MSFS2024. In X-Plane 12 there is a script to get the toe brakes to work as antitorque pedals. I can't find a solution for MSFS2024 as I don't and won't have it. Unfortunately Vjoy and Joystick Gremlin seems to be the only option until there is a mod to take care of that.

Got the same problem. It seems in FS2024 there isn't an option for left and right. It only gives me the option to set one axis for the rudder

Even if these helicopters can auto hover, there are phases of flights that are better done manually. It seems you are a big fan of automation, how good are your basic helicopter flying skills? It's normal only when you press and hold the trim release button. Otherwise it means that the helicopter is picking movement from the cyclic, i.e. your joystick. Make sure you calibrate your joystick and that the dead zone is reasonable enough for the helicopter not to detect movement if you are not moving the joystick. In case you don't understand what I mean, I can make a video to explain it better.

I don't really understand what you mean and will try to answer based on the assumption that you seem to have your trackir always centred. Step 1: Make sure you turn trackir on BEFORE launching the game. Step 2: Make sure you are using the correct profile in trackir. Step 3: Make sure your trackir lights are both green and not orange. Step 4: If it still doesn't work, make sure you have assigned the axis for each head movement properly. You can copy mine if you want as they work in most games. 00:06:40 is where I show how I have assigned the curves.

TBH I'm not flying the H160 very often as it still lacks some features that the dev himself told me he will add but i'm still waiting. Otherwise I use the same key bindings as the H145 and just add the extend/retract landing gears commands.

Note that you can choose which of these steps you wanna take, so feel free to watch it for it helped me in the beginning of the game to not get killed from every enemy. Hope this helps. As for talisman pouches you can only get them from defeating the main bosses of the game, so if you progress thru the story then you will get them eventually. PS: I can see that you put a lot in dexterity, if you are going with a blood build which is one of the best for samurai in the game you should put points into Arcane, that build up blood loss faster. Also you need a lot more vigor since enemies from the altus region and forward do a lot more damage than other enemies. I am level 147 and pretty maxed out with max weapons but the knights in the game still can kill me easily, so its all about timing and avoiding the attacks and doing damage when you can. Practice and you will get them. Good luck fellow samurai.

Something else I noticed while watching the video is that at around 0:13 the 2nd attack does no damage to my character
Im assuming it's programmed to wait for the the death animation to finish and the fading animation to start.
All living creatures have hitboxes that remain while in the death animation. You can see this first hand when fighting the godskin duo. Once you kill one of them and it goes into its death animation if you continue to hit it the big health bar on the bottom continues to go down. I think the enemies are just programmed to swing at your hitbox until it’s not there anymore.

Just a simple example on bad coding on from soft part, the mobs are coded to attack your character, so as long as it's displayed, even if you died, it will keep attacking, an example is when you fight the God skin duo, you can kill one of them, but not drain the hp fully, but as the character falls you can still deal damage to the falling body (that's dead, you killed him, even tho that doesn't have more hp on that charater model, the boss bar is still depletes, the character model for the boss is tied to a seperate hp bar)
The "you died" appears when the death animation finishes and the body disappears. If we say the body just disappearing on death is canon, I'd want to keep whaling until they vanish to make sure they're really dead. If not, I'd want to get a couple more hits in until it's clear that this fucker who can cast spells from *demigods that he's personally slain* is dead.
Might wanna quick shuv if your on flat so you actually land it or pop it higher.

I never noticed that. Is it possible the game keeps the enemies fighting for cases where there is a summons or a cooperator that may finish off the enemy, like let's say a boss?
Could be. I once watched a video where the player died and a summon killed the boss while the player was in the "OH NO I'm dying" animation and it counted as a boss kill.
This has always been the case with souls games but you aren't seen as officially dead until the animation for your death is done playing and your character is removed from the instance. This applies to other NPCs and enemies until they enter ragdoll or disappear

Could this also happen if a human player co-operator kills the boss in the same situation?
@@greyeyedeagle yes, so long as the "BOSS SLAIN" message triggers before they respawn. I don't know the exact overlap but I do know that players last slightly longer in the instances than any enemy or boss, and I've personally been the co-operator who kills the boss right after my friend dies and it counts towards their game progression. They sometimes miss out on the souls (depends on timing), but never specific boss drops
