Yes, everything evolves and changes. But that doesn't necessarily mean it gets better. I note the resurgence of interest in cars and racing like this and Muscle Car Masters compared with the sentiment that the Gen 3 V8 supercars are becoming boring.

The overrated Nissan being MAULED by Murphy in a Perkins built VN with way less hp and technology. If the VN had a 6 speed box it’d be GONE. You can see how well setup it is across the top of the mountain with Murphy all over the back of the Nissan. The VS HRT looking as fresh and modern as anything racing today and in fact FAR better looking than the V8 stupid car garbage.

VS HRT commodore STILL looks as modern as anything racing today and is a timeless shape with that body kit and paint scheme. Murphy showing what a pro he is mauling the Nissan which has WAY more hp and technology in a Perkins built freight train VN. If that car had a 6 speed box that Nissan would be getting NOWHERE. Even after all these years the commodores still showing how superior they were to cars from more advanced eras.

This is the category I want to watch.

So much more I interesting than the piles of shit stupid car main game CRAP. The VR VS still look as fresh and modern as they did when they raced and in my opinion are one of the best colour schemes ever to grace the mountain. Murphy is no slouch in that Perkins VN. Hes monstering that Nissan in a car with way less hp and technology. And above all so good to see these cars actually being RACED instead of pathetic parade laps.

Mighty 308 first up the mountain sounds awesome compared to the boring plastic shit boxes the energy drink flops drive now. Never late in a 308. Unless your moffat who slammed it into the wall in Friday practice and wrote it off. Brock GIFTED him a drive after years of moffat being an arrogant tool. After that accident he never forgot how generous Brock was that he NEVER scalded Moffat for that accident. Unfortunately it wasn’t the last time moffat was a disaster behind the wheel of Brock’s VK. Coming into the pits like a clown flying over speed humps which ironically he himself insisted be a part of pit safety he tore the oil cooler line out of the car while in the LEAD at Bathurst costing them both another win. Moral to the story never let a ford dickhead drive a holden.

They gave him no hope of winning with an engine they laughed at Larry for using but when he showed them up got pole then won the race some teams protested then they banned the use of the Holden V8 and slide throttle intake for level 1 teams smh

A great win by Larry Perkins. The best was still yet to come for Larry Perkins during the 1990s. Of course you can't forget the famous last to first victory in the 1995 Bathurst 1000 race. Remarkable professionalism and incredible talent shown by Larry Perkins.

That exhaust note on JR's Dodo Commodore was fucking mint.
