Hello Mark, Rosie, Jamie and Aubrey Eric Ryder here! Excellent review of the movie "The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus". I thought that it was a really colorful, eccentric fantasy film that Terry Gilliam is famous for. Christopher Plummer shows that at his advanced age, he can still outperform a lot of the cast members (especially the younger cast members like Andrew Garfield and Lily Cole) and the imagery is one of the main reasons why this film stands out. I like the story being told about making a deal with the devil and this fantasy world where your imagination can become real is just fascinating. I liked how they treated Heath Ledger's death and edited it well into the story and that Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law filled in the character Tony by making him look differently each time. Sure when Ledger shows up on the screen had me in tears at least, he got a good send-off in this movie. I also enjoyed Verne Troyer's role as Parnassus' assistant and Tom Waits was really good as the devil himself, Mr. Nick. It was a great film and great for fans who love fantasy films. Please stop by channel anytime to check out my review on "The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus". Feel free to leave a comment. Okay? Thank you

Hello Jamie, Sam, Aubrey and Rosie, Eric Ryder here. Great review on "North By Northwest". I agree with you on a ton of things. This movie was the ultimate fugitive on the run film. It truly was way ahead of its time in numerous things including the dialogue, the action scenes and the undertones drawn in by the characters. I really enjoyed this Hitchcock film because unlike the other more subtle diabolical suspense films, this one feels almost like an early Sean Connery James Bond film. It has both style and substance that was equally handled quite subliminally. There were a lot of memorable scenes including the crop duster scene, the showdown at Mt. Rushmore, and the drunk-driving scene. I enjoyed the wonderful seductive chemistry between Cary Grant and Eva Marie Saint. The villains were also quite interesting like James Mason and Martin Landau, who had homosexual vibes going between them (that's not a bad thing). Another Hitchcock film that had homosexual undertones of the characters was the 1948 classic Rope based loosely on the Leopold and Loeb true story. But this is a good movie, everyone needs to see this one. Come by my channel I have a review on the movie "North by Northwest". Please tell me what you think. Okay? Thank you very much.
i love johnny depp bur vincent cassell just suits the part more and has this kind of charm that fits the role.
C'est nul
Is it possible to see this anywhere?
I loved public enemies and Johnny Depp portrayal of Dillinger but without question that Mesrine 2 part French film is the more EPIC! Vincent Cassel is the total movie criminal; smart, daring, ruthless, indomitable! Moves with fiery energy and a breakneck pace; with a magnificent powerful performance by Vincent Cassel. An instant gangster classic. Just can't get enough! Daring, Stylish and fast-moving! What PUBLIC ENEMIES should have been...
KICKASS!!!! :D
Is this one of those new generation romantic comedies?? lol
Great film, great soundtrack...
LOL did he say JACE? That's ...interesting.
then how do you explain that there are many many stars whose careers were held back because ethey were Asian or black or whatever?what about all the racial stereotypes?are you actually trying to say Hollywood didn't use the color bar back then despite all the evidence?love those puritans...
also exclusion and oppression based on racial heritage..now...THAT is what good Christian values are a bout....
yes...and common decency includes exclusion and oppression based on racial heritage and insane ideas such as MARRIED couples sleep in separate beds???(!)now thats what GOOD CHRISTIAN VALUES are all about .
its funny because half of the people who have commented and are in the interview dont even have a clue about this 'cult' there talking about - adidas treds ,joy division ,and a wedge haircut all a northern lad needs
very sentimental film.
Can you imagine waking up one morning and finding Sandra BernhaRD in bed next to you, Prior evening had better provided a dimly lit bar with a LOT of alchol. She ruined this movie no, matter how hard Cameron dye tried to save it.
GOOD MOVIE
While I'm not a fan of censorship, the " Hays Code " actually had an over-all positive affect on movie making. Without being able to rely on overt sexuality(it was during those days) to attract audiences, the writing, acting and production of films became much better. In fact, some of the most talented and " sexy " actresses came after the code: Rita Hayworth,Ava Gardner,Deborah Kerr,Lauren Bacall and so many others. All were sexy, sensual and alluring without having to take their clothes off.
Stop the video at 4:36 OMG Alex looks soooo damn sexy in all that black!!!! ;-)
melt. lol bet you all about that you bookworm.
Because he's not normal you melt. It's supposed to convey excitement, something out of the ordinary of Carty's mundane life.
its 2012 weres the movie?lies :(
It's filmed in my school!!!!
Colour of the trap
@rimouu1 you've gotta see an american or japanese horror film
@tomitstube HAHAHAHA!!!!
a light hearted romantic comedy for all the family
Man, if the censors from back then could see the films of today, they'd have a heart attack. Today we have movies with sex, blood, violence, and drug use. Back then, dang, near any nudity from just above the breast to the mid thigh was considered obscene and would be removed. So showing the navel could get your movie banned, thank god for progress up to the 90's. After the 90's though films started sucking anyways so it doesn't really matter.
y call him fucking elvis y not allen or john or sumot fucking normal....
