Replacing a bathroom sink basin waste unit plug type for a more modern pop up /click clack unit and installation using ptfe polytetrafluoroethylene tape as oppose to using silicone sealant which can be messy on application and making it difficult to remove when replacement is required.
If the original basin waste is leaking again this is also my preferred cost effective cure.
