      If the bar is lopsided from damage, you'll have to get a replacement. You can get into contact with Anycubic through email or social media and get warranty service. If it's not from damage, it could need a reinstall so it's straight

      Really? What issues are people having with the build plate? I did a review and it worked well for me - ua-cam.com/video/ZrtmGoOT5kQ/v-deo.html If models aren't sticking to the build plate the main fix is increasing bottom exposure time. I've got many articles on resin troubleshooting, here's one of them - 3dprinterly.com/ways-how-to-fix-resin-prints-sticking-to-fep-not-build-plate/

      what would you suggest

    • @awildtomappeared5925
      @awildtomappeared5925 7 днів тому

      @@addepartment atm I'd say 8ks for best detail, or m7 or m7p for general mid range printer, it has decent uniformity and less design flaws than most, but both that printer and all the others have bad QC so you gotta check through them with a uv meter and engineering square. The reflexd is the only printer that is any thing like say a bambu lab printer in terms of easy of use eg it actually has auto leveling unlike anything else but ofc you pay for that and are locked in with their resins unless you want to gamble on 3rd party resin with their profiles. I've even seen people have big QC issues with reflexes though so whatever you get you need to check it well, eg make sure uv uniformity is okay (they are all less than advertised but at least say 80% should be usable) and plate is flat and z axis is perpendicular to the main plate/lcd

    It can also mitigate bulging corners, which is huge, when trying to fit small parts/joints together. I've found 10mms Jerk and 800mms Acceleration to work well on Ender 5 series printers, but that's pushing it. Linear Advance is the way to go - it's time I upgraded.

    • @3D-Printerly
      @3D-Printerly Місяць тому

      Good point, yeah getting that precision for those corners is important. Thanks for the suggestion. I always recommend a Bambu Lab machine, the A1 is a solid choice

      I'm considering the PS1, but I have a big issue with proprietary parts, so, it's a toss up with that and the K1C. So far, I'm leaning toward Creality, but only because my 5 S1 has been dependable and easy to mod/tweak.

    Yea sorry i did product photography for a living for some time and from my experience thats hardly any advice ngl. Like yea its hard to disagree that if your print is bad or your camera is bad your photo will be bad, but if someone needs to be told that they are beyond help anyway. Why there is 0 usefull advice in this whole video that you can just go and looking everything up for yourself? What does it mean to have "a good 3d print" in that context? Does it mean "just print it"? No information on if you should drop the layer height to make it look more detailed? No information if you can print with material color that makes details more visible? No information on if you can use cheap PLA for photos to drop costs even if you want to sell a functional model that need a stronger material in an actual print? No nothing? Really? Man you are already editing the video, adding subtitles and shit, why there is no pictures of how a good light setup looks like. Why there is no word about that the light should be soft when you can just print a light difuser? Why are you saying that you should use natural light while its a bad idea cuz it can glow only from one side and its inconsistent as shit so you need to basically set up everything from stratch every time. Why are you saying there should be no clutter in the setup while showing a photo of a print inside the printer? You are showing that this advice is so unimportant even you dont care to follow it. A fitting advice would be to make a lightbox that can fit a box the same size as your printing area cuz you cant get anything bigger anyway, not just "make it not suck lol". Why are you adding a camera emoji while talking about photo editing instead of showing a before and after example? Why are you saying "you should get the best camera you can get" but show no examples of what a good camera is? Ignorig that profesional cameras require skill to use that people needing shallow advices doesnt have. Like man this video is so soulless like that. Not enough usefull information to help anyone who needs it, not written well enough to be watched for entertainment, not even long enough to be put in a background noise to sleep to. Just a mid video made for the sake of it and put online to get 3 likes. Man you can do way better than this

      Thanks for the feedback. It's hard to add all of the details in a UA-cam Short. I wrote a full article on this and summarized it for a UA-cam Short. I answer pretty much all your questions in the full article - 3dprinterly.com/how-to-take-the-best-photos-for-3d-print-listings/ The subtitles are automated. You assume it's not helpful because you already have experience, a lot of people don't.

      What kind of print failures are you having? If the models aren't sticking to the build plate well, increase the bottom exposure time by 50%. If the models are failing during the print, up the normal exposure time by 50%. If there are gaps in where the model should print, increase the amount of supports you have. Make sure there isn't any residue or semi-cured resin in your vat before the start of each print. Check out this video I made for more details - ua-cam.com/video/-RnXtZFvnms/v-deo.html

      Yeah it could be for a few reasons depending on the cause, I made a video on this - ua-cam.com/video/jvuZxFhld6w/v-deo.html Usually comes down to lowering your build plate, increasing print temperature, also calibrating extruder steps. Try those things and let me know if it works

      Na it doesn't have the internal USB. There are space heaters you can use that connect with a normal power adapter rather than USB. You can funnel it through the vent hole in the 3D printer. Elegoo is coming out with their own resin mini heater - www.elegoo.com/en-gb/products/mini-heater

      @@3D-Printerly Ah, so the exhaust vent gets plugged with the white cover but its powered externally, got it. Thats one solution. Thank you!

      Hey, glad you liked the video! The cost per print ranges anywhere from $1.25 for a small model that uses 50g of material at a cost of $25 per KG bottle of resin, up to a larger model that uses 600g of material at a cost of $50 per KG bottle to $30 and higher.
