6 years later, and we're still thinking into buying one of those two. And TBH they both suck as far as image quality goes in 2023, yet, the alternative is an HDMI capture card + digital camera, because even the StreamCams and Brios aren't worth it. Oh, and those two darn cameras are still more expensive than they were 6 years ago, thanks to the freaking pandemic that seems to have ended 2 years ago and tech companies forgot to drop their prices!

The wide sucks! Convinced me not to buy it.

*Very pleased with **Newest.Technology** the setup , it took a little adjusting on a few of out cameras to keep them from getting a glare at night. Once that was done they looked great! We look forward to adding a few more cameras to our current setup soon!*

Why do they waste there time and money putting terrible mics into the webcams

When showing the image of the games in the lower right corner you have the microphone icons and the circles ,disappeared to me and I do not know how to restore it since then the image gently blurs when playing games. I do not know if it is the fault of the monitor or graphics card

Never buy a webcam for its microphone. People should just stop even bothering reviewing them for their mic. It's about the camera. Period. If you're not going to buy a reasonably good microphone you're wasting your time.

I don't think you know much about microphone specs. The frequency response is normally 20-20000 Hertz (and is very flat). There is a switch that, when on, allegedly rolls off the bass about 12 dB per octave, starting at 80 Hz. However, Audio-Technica's frequency response graph shows that it actually rolls off 10 dB/octave starting at 120 Hz. Also, microphones response doesn't change much from 12" and beyond. Better if you move in closer than 12" to show how drastic the proximity effect (boosted bass response) is.

I live in an apartment and your music is too damned loud for watching this at 430 am. I almost jumped out of my chair & I am amazed my neighbor didn't pound on the wall before I could turn the volume down. Please not have it so loud in the future !

I was thinking of purchasing a monitor for my Xbox one X. I have been researching everyday for the past 2 weeks. I see this is at Best Buy on sale for $463 so I came to UA-cam for reviews.. The reviews I see are over 3 years old. Is this monitor worth purchasing in 2019 or should I wait for something newer? Thanks in Advance

Thanks for the review. Why the c920 is so nasty in terms of quality. It looks like you are inside some fog! Why do they put so much wide angle there? Maybe I don't want to shoot my whole room and don't want their crappy zoom. It's ridiculous that we don't have much competition among webcamera manufacturers. In fact those webcameras are often used in business settings. And quality does matter. Sometimes it matters a great deal! It looks like it's better to use camcorders or DSLRs since they can't crank out a decent webcam.

Which one is better in your opinion? Which one you feel to aim better and have better consistency?
