Marketplace Mission: Flying Across Australia To Get A Car
Переглядів 6086 місяців тому
We looked at a shitbox 4Runner in Adelaide, and decided PHUK IT let's fly to the Sunshine Coast and buy one we found on Facebook Marketplace and then drive it 27 hours home. Apart from filming no content, and Peko passing away, it was a fun trip home. Would I do it again? Yes, I want a Supra again.
What I Did To My Brumby In 2023 (Recap)

As the year comes to an end, we reflect on what 2023 brought for our Subaru Brumby. From an EJ engine conversion, to a new exhaust, many CV's, and a road trip to the outback over more than 3500km's. The Brumby saw it all - and you can see it all too in our previous videos on our channel. Neighbours Insist I Make A New Exhaust

We built a custom 2.5 inch exhaust system for the EJ swapped Subaru Brumby. We had to recycle some of the parts from the old exhaust, utilising the old flange and cannon. We added in a new muffler, and fingers crossed it's not as loud as it used to (for our neighbours sake). I created disgusting, distasteful furniture out of car parts that cost more than the items themselves. We took some damaged McLaren 650s parts and made a (sort of) functional clock. This 5 minute craft soon became 6 hours of aluminum inhalation. Was it worth it? Probably not, but it does look cool. Tell us your thoughts in the comments! I miss my Subi watching these. What this episode made me remember is how much time I spent fixing pretty much the same stuff. Bent the struts. Also tried to put the strut through the bonnet. I had similar issues with the battery as well. I’d fix it as best I could and next trip it would get thrown around and come loose again.

good thing it didnt work as the fan itself wouldve probably had shattered like a fragment bomb sending parts out even through the cage around it next time you try it make sure the fan can not swivel and have everyone stand behind it then just try a 50 shot setup with extra fuel or a nitrous propane mix (maibe use a cutting torch with propane under the taps and the nitrous under the oxigen lever ) and be prepared to see the fan fly apart or disconect and fly off might be nice to put a sheet of plywood or styrofoam to the side so you can see the pieces of fan sticking intoo it
