Catch, Clean, Cook and Eat Carp | 2KG Eggs
Don’t throw your catch away. In this video, I will show you how to catch, clean and cook carp fish.
Specifically, carp fish eggs.
If you have been following my channel, you would know by now that I eat every part of the fish I caught. I fish mainly for carp because I am more comfortable fishing in a river, lake or creek. I am very uncomfortable with the ocean. I grew up in the highlands of Borneo. The ocean is kind of new to me.
But when it comes to carp fish eggs, there is just too much and I tried not to eat too much of it as it contains higher cholesterol just like the chicken eggs. But cooking it this way is the best.
Please watch how I clean and remove the mud line in the carp:
ua-cam.com/video/PN01SbFpfHs/v-deo.html
You will eat carp if you clean it this way. Remove the Lateral Line nerve. This nerve involves water displacement causing the fish's flesh smelly. Remove the main blood vein. Remove gall bladder. Clean fish eggs or roe. How to scale fish. How to gut fish. How to clean fish intestine. How to clean fish head. How to fillet fish. How to clean carp. How to Cook Carp. Catching carp. Fishing for carp using sweet corn kernel as bait.
Most unwanted Fish in Australia
Carp are an abundant invasive fish species that has been contributing to environmental degradation across the Murray-Darling Basin since the 1960s. Carp are an invasive fish species. Carp is considered a noxious aquatic species in Victoria, Australia.
In Victoria, It is an offence to release live carp (or any noxious species) into any waters. The maximum penalty (in court) is a fine of $14,084 for a first offence and $28,168 for a second offence. I would say, carp is the most unwanted fish in Australia. If you return Carp to the water in Victoria you are committing an offence!......
Carp is not easy to catch. It took me 5 years to learn how to catch carp. Carps are very smart and fishing them needs experience, patience and planning.

Carp aren't popular as a food fish in the US, either, mostly because of the bones. However, fly anglers really like them because they are a challenge to get to take a fly and they fight like bulldogs. Personally, I've only caught a couple and I thought they were delicious.

I like what you did with the fish but I just can not deal with the bones , they are a night mare for me, my carp get turned into cat food and garden liquid fertiliser and occasionally for raising some maggots for fishing , I’ll try the big carp but really not looking forward to those ridiculous bones they have , your video was fantastic ,I am still to be convinced on these fish.

Thanks this is a resource we usually destroy, perhaps use it to fertilize soil! Far better to eat that concentrated protein, than to try to cobble together probably inadequate protein from plants! Poisoning all plants and animals competing with us on that soil! Ecological madness! Thankyou from Australia.

if i ever make a paddle. im going to give it a 30 degree curve in the center area of the bar that connects each paddle, so you dont have to travel your arms up and down 3 feet each time you swing. you really only need to lower 12 or so inches into and out of the water each stroke. surely thatll work great, as long as leverage isnt effected too much. idk. just guessing, never tested it. i think that would cause all off hand leverage to be lost. hmm. no... no, i dont think it would lose any leverage. in fact, the grip would be even easier.

This is by far the best design I've seen for a plywood canoe. Great job!

Un gran trabajo. Ha quedado precioso y practico (ligero) . No lo pintes. En madera natural es mas bonito. Es casi como usar como canoa un Stradivarius 😉👍

Thank you so much. You are right. I wanted to apply clear varnish but it would be shining. Not natural. I left it as it is. I just make sure I store it away from direct sun. Stradivarius! I can sell it for lots of money then 🤩☺️. Thank you so much for your nicest comments 🙏🙏🙏

Yep 👍🏽. I tried. Yummy. But must make sure the fish is dry. Dust with a bit of flour helps too.
