Another video that took about a year to make from writing to completion, this ended up morphing (ha!) from a review of season 1, to a review of the entire series to the Official Sequel™️ to Gridlocked and (late) first Christmas special we've done. In hindsight, while writing this we overcompensated for some of the flaws in the analysis portion of Gridlocked by not writing enough comedy into this one, still trying to find that balance. We have an idea for a sequel to cap this off as a trilogy, but that's going to have to wait a while for the research as well as just feeling like its the right time to make it.
I hope you all have had a good Holiday season and that your local superiors aren't messing with you too bad.
Next video should be out in a month, the script's already written and is in a less stressful production style than the "Grid" videos are so far. Hope to see you there!

6:19 basically summarized why it’s hard for me to have respect for this show besides the fact it introduced me to Super Sentai. I will rewatch the abaranger episode every once and awhile though because it uses the ost from the show.

Since 1995 Gorenger and JAKQ belong to it. Which makes no sense coz JAKQ and Gorenger Apparate de during the season 10 anniversary of Sentai.. They definitely belonged to it since 85-86 instead of 95

Glad to know making battle fever j the first wasn’t a deliberate choice because if you ask me, it’s really weird to see battle fever j as the “first” sentai when they look like that when pretty much every successor Sentai takes hardly any design cues from them.

Question What makes a show super sentai and why is ninja captor left out of the mix?
I absolutely love how you explain things then pretend to finished, only to give us a Million twists. I had to stop watching. How about you start from the begining and get to the end? Instead of taking us through many different paths and confuse everyone.

very great review of dino fury. It was definitely a season i really loved and honestly would rewatch in the future. Characters felt relatable and a story that was engaging. I definitely feel the people who hated on dino fury just have grown out of the brand to really see how much the show has evolved with dino fury.

no it's not a super sentai. Just a Marvel adaptation that toei took inspiration from when working on Battle Fever
Ishomori allowed the Goranger and JAKO to be incorporated before he died.

Every fanfic writer has to be careful of stuff like this. Troper's also have a name for this. It's called Fanon. Facts that are taken as canon by fans that may or may not have any real basis in the source material.

I would also suspect that rights issues probably was the reason why Battle Fever J was at the first Super Sentai series for a while as well. That said I'm just glad that GoRanger and JAKQ is now part of the franchise and was originally planned to be the first two Super Sentai series.
why I like zenkaiser Because they play homage to even ninja captor by hakaiser staecasear = battle fever j / akiba ranger (my headcannon) zekaiser (gorenger)
it's really sad what happen to power rangers even I think super sentai might be better but I still will always love PR with all my heart it was my childhood kinda sad to see it might be ending
I just feel like gokaiger makes sense for Goranger just because of the desgins they look more like the sentai designs
