Very nice cutting board. Not trying to be the grammar police but although many people call it a joiner, it's called a jointer, with a T. One joints the edge until it's glued - then it's joined 🙂

Good video on making crosse. I make them perfect on a CNC , not so perfect on a bandsaw, scroll saw or jig saw. Having my own saw mill, using trees from the ranch allows me to be very flexible on sizes, styles and species. I can say that with all the off cuts from milling mesquite, pecan, hickory oak etc keeps me supplied with lots of canvas's so to speak. My smallest are 1 1/2" x 1/4" thick whike to date my largest is 30" tall and 3" thick.

@@gailjohnson3544 good morning Gail! Yes, even if there’s small cracks, I will use the wood for crosses. I sell them on Etsy, noting that I’m using Rustic Rosewood, which may have some minor cracks that add to the character of the cross. @@gailjohnson3544 I’m excited for you Gail! Woodworking is fun to do and very rewarding. As with anything, there’s a bit of a learning curve. With every project, you’ll learn more skills. You are starting off on the right foot by watching videos and asking questions. I would focus on learning some basic skills on UA-cam like “how to use a jigsaw.” Or “how to use a circular saw”, then put it into practice so you get comfortable with that tool.
