Baby probably forgot that mom’s belly is more comfortable than being at the edge of the nest.

Bluebirds and Wrens will fight to the death over their nests and nest boxes. I saw a bluebird kill a Wren after big caught destroying its freshly built nest. Wrens are highly territorial and will destroy nests, eggs, and even the young of other birds to claim a box. Never underestimate the savagery of either of these "cute" birds.
You're referring to house wrens, not this carolina wren.
I love Carolina Wrens. Besides living in Carolina I have a bias they are awesome, cute little birds that will nest in the strangest places. The unfortunate thing is if the Wren did nest we would likely not be able to see the babies because they make nest it a cave-like cup, instead of a normal cup, like the bluebird.
Uh oh, Kylo Wren is back and Frannie wants none of it.
The Wren did a PIT manuver on itself. The BB only had to show up with it's lights flashing😎
The blue 🐦 is about 35% larger than the wren bird🐦⬛ poor wren🥺☹️😞
😬Ooh boy this is not good & it is unfortunate cause there both so cute 🥺

What happened to the bluebird live came
Looks like they didn't like the intrusion, or found a better spot. Or something happened to the female.
I ❤ Rocky Mountain bluebirds
What kind of a nesting box do you have for your blue birds?
We custom made it. If you go to the “community” tab on our channel, we posted an outside picture of it 2 years ago.
Great job babies❤
@BackyardBirdhouse have you seen the fledglings since they fledged?
No, not yet! They usually disappear for about a week!
be careful babies, stay safe 😢💙
I loved how the last one was so quick to leave, didn't want to be left behind in the nest.
God is good ❤️🙏✝️
Watched it live and it was lovely to watch, thank you so much for making it all possible to watch the beginning of these beautiful birds life. Thank you from UK 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
A mother's instinct
I was Hoping that Was a Cuckoo Egg.
I love the way you look
Sorry you're film quality is not watchable for me. 😔... I really wanted to watch this video.
This stream is from when we were troubleshooting our livestream pausing and skipping. It has now been resolved.
What just happened here??
She needs the calcium that shell provides.. that shell was probably damaged
I would keep the wren guard up until they hatch and are a few days old. It has not detoured the female from brooding. My bluebirds abandoned their eggs here in Georgia. I am thinking because of the heat.
Does anyone know why this isn't live streamed anymore?
My question too!!
Are the eggs OK. I see that the livestream has been off all day.
This house wren is lucky enough to escape from the bluebird's attack! It is no match against the bluebird!
Hello! My bb nestlings are 10 days old now and I’m worried about removing my wren guard in fear the wren will come and kill them. When would you suggest I remove it when there are house wrens in area? The first two egg clutches were destroyed by a wren. I moved my box and bb nested this third clutch, one egg was destroyed before I got the wren guard up. It’s been hard helping to keep them safe. But so far they’ve been okay with the guard on. Any advice?
good! Wrens are mean!!
we had bluebirds too- soooo fun to watch!!! im obsessed :-)
Which camera do you sujest to be install inside the blue BIRD house ?
Info is in our description!
Só lovely. We have a couple doing their third nest . The Babies até só cute.

Hey this my house for summer! I used VRBO!!!!! Leave
2:30:00 In case anyone is wondering what happened to the egg that was destroyed by the house wren.
That's a war between them
Absolutely love this most memorable video of the mother caring for her babies!
I'm sorry!

Enough with "Even Nature Can Be Cruel Sometimes." This is the biggest misconception ever. Would you apply this type of term in reference to crimes committed by human? Stop blaming nature for crimes by birds to another birds of different species. Birds can make their own decisions whether to kill or not! This is not the survival of the fittest or whatever. This is plain murder by another bird wherever you believe it or not. The bird steals another bird's home, and denies the right for the baby to develop even though the mother wasn't abandoning the house until she lays three more eggs.
Geez...easy pal.
This behavior did evolve one way or another, cavities are a pretty sparse resource in nature. Plus they’re native unlike house sparrows and starlings. Nature can be cruel sometimes.
I know, I see it every day w crackles,black birds blue jays,cr
