Believe it or not, weaving in a dark shock teleport every other blow skill is technically a small damage gain. Whether you want to try for or forgo that damage is up to you.

"For Liberty" is used every 3 minutes so that you have the buff during burst. The other hyper skills, "Sweeping Staff" and "Master of Death", we use off cooldown.

dark genesis cooldown cutter for training, all auras, last point literally does not matter (I barely use party shield so I have another put in dark genesis)

BaM does average damage, which is honestly very good (considering BaM has better party utility than every class under it).

I believe that is true, but to be specific, the end of any will end fatal; you can proc fatal on origin cast and have it last until 1s after the origin cutscene ends.

I would say pretty easy since the telecasting nerf; to me, BaM is one of those classes that is not hard to play but got enough things to keep you interested (unlike some of the crayon classes).

Yeah when I played BaM back in the day I wanted to quit the character because the 4th job felt really bad...but I couldn't find another class I enjoyed more and BaM grew on me so here I am.

Down telecasting is completely dead since 1-to-1 telecasting (1 teleport per blow attack) has been dead for a while now.

The delay of the blow skill on GMS attack speed is less than that of dark shock. In the old style of telecasting (attack + tp, repeating) you can only using the blow skill as quickly as you can use dark shock; compared to just holding the blow skill, you sacrifice some blow hits for active dark shock hits. As you already know, the nerfs to active dark shock made the old style less effective. However, an alternate style of telecasting (attack x 2 + tp, repeating) is not gated by the delay of dark shock, so no blow hits are sacrificed for the additional active dark shock hits. I will mix no tp, attack x 3 + tp, and attack x 2 + tp in my gameplay depending on the situation and how I'm feeling on that particular day. EDIT: I do it because I like telecasting and it's a theoretical damage gain. Even in KMS, where the old style of telecasting is still technically optimal, no one telecasts anymore.

They have some situational use. Both, especially Nautilus Strike, provide nice AoE for mobbing and, when boosted, kill mobs more easily than Eight-Legs Easton. They also give you some vertical range to hit bosses and multi-target options to hit their minions (like Lucid), but the damage is not really significant. So, in short, yes for mobbing and no for bossing is my answer.

Corsair burst is very mid but quite reliable.

Ideally it would look like (brain scrambler should be weaved in while buffing up) roll of the dice -> all aboard -> siege bomber -> broadside x2 -> epic adventure -> maple goddess’s blessing -> true arachnid reflection -> pirate’s banner -> overdrive -> whaler’s potion -> terms and conditions -> ror -> brain scrambler -> nautilus assault -> death trigger -> target lock (unless ur scared) -> rapid fire -> brain scrambler -> bullet barrage -> brain scrambler. If the boss is slippery you would skip to bullet barrage after target lock.

The concept of funding is pretty outdated, especially in reboot, because you have to level and improve your equips to experience more content in the game; corsair is pretty much "normal" in that the class doesn't require workarounds in legion or inner ability for buff duration, critical rate, attack speed, etc.. Corsair is a good class at all points of the game, although it falls off a bit at the current endgame (kalos) as a class with negligible party utility and subpar burst. The mobbing on this class is excellent, pulling off rates with lazy rotations that some other classes can't even reach. I would consider corsair just under the highest tier as a solo bosser, and an average class in party play.

@@klouless4367 do you have any class recommendations that would be great in the current state of the game at both mobbing and bossing? I really like lazy mobbers that still pull good rates as well as being able to do all content without issues

@@kafu9233 Most classes can do all content without much issue, but Bishop and Dawn Warrior stand out the most as good-at-everything classes.
