They have some situational use. Both, especially Nautilus Strike, provide nice AoE for mobbing and, when boosted, kill mobs more easily than Eight-Legs Easton. They also give you some vertical range to hit bosses and multi-target options to hit their minions (like Lucid), but the damage is not really significant. So, in short, yes for mobbing and no for bossing is my answer.
I just started playing again, and decided to main corsair. Is it pure dpm class or does it have some burst going for it? Not that it will make me change class, just curious
Hey, planning to play the game again. Would you recommend corsair? How is its early game/mid/end, how much funding do you need? Hows the mobbing/How comfortable is the mobbing? How good is the bossing? Thanks!
The concept of funding is pretty outdated, especially in reboot, because you have to level and improve your equips to experience more content in the game; corsair is pretty much "normal" in that the class doesn't require workarounds in legion or inner ability for buff duration, critical rate, attack speed, etc.. Corsair is a good class at all points of the game, although it falls off a bit at the current endgame (kalos) as a class with negligible party utility and subpar burst. The mobbing on this class is excellent, pulling off rates with lazy rotations that some other classes can't even reach. I would consider corsair just under the highest tier as a solo bosser, and an average class in party play.
@@klouless4367 do you have any class recommendations that would be great in the current state of the game at both mobbing and bossing? I really like lazy mobbers that still pull good rates as well as being able to do all content without issues

Corsair burst is very mid but quite reliable.

@@kafu9233 Most classes can do all content without much issue, but Bishop and Dawn Warrior stand out the most as good-at-everything classes.
