In this video, I will tell you how you can make Ghevar at home for the first time. I have also made it for the first time, so I am sharing my experience with you. My Ghevar was made as perfect as the market in the first time.
Ingredients :-
1. Maida
2. Ghee
3. Ice
4. Semolina
5. Cold water
6. Sugar
7. Milk
8. Custard powder
9. Chopped dry fruits
Recipe :-
1. First of all, we will take 100 grams of flour and put two spoons of flour in a vessel and add two-three spoons of sugar and stir it till it becomes cream. When the cream is formed then we will take out the sifted flour from it and then beat it for another two-three minutes so that it becomes smooth paste.
2. Now add flour to it and mix it well, after that add cold water to it, add cold water little by little and mix it and then add three fourth spoon of semolina to it and add water to it well and make a thin batter. And filter the batter in a sieve.
3. Now take a deep vessel, put oil or ghee in it and keep it on the gas to heat. When the oil gets heated well, then add two-three drops of batter in it and the batter will come out completely and spread the oil on top, then after that for the second time. We will add two-three drops of butter in such a way that it comes to the surface and then let it sit and then add it. Similarly, we also have to add batter in it 25 times.
4. When the ghevar turns golden brown, take it out with a knife and see, the latticed ghevar is ready.
5. To make sugar syrup, we will take a bowl of sugar in a pan and add half water to it and cook it on medium flame. When the sugar completely melts and dissolves in water, after that we will cook it for two-three minutes and make one string syrup. After that, take it out in a vessel and keep it to cool.
6. Now to make instant rabri, we will take a bowl of milk in a pan, keep the milk to boil and on the other side, take a bowl, add one and a half spoon of custard powder and two to three spoons of water and make a paste when the milk boils. When it comes, we will put a round of custard in it, rotate it and add two spoons of sugar, cook it till it thickens, when it becomes thick, then take it out in a vessel and keep it to cool.
7. Now we will first pour the syrup on the ghevar and spread it with a spoon, after that we will put rabri on both the ghevar, we will put it all over the ghevar and after that we will decorate it with dry fruits, now our ghevar is ready, enjoy it.
