so mine will only run if i hold in the power button..it will not stay in on it's own
I did all the steps but I turned the allen key a few times thinking that it would loosen more stuff. I cleared the problem but now the disposal make noise and it sounds like something is loose. Now whichever way I turn the key there is no resistance. What do I need to tighten?
I can't get the allen wrench to budge for the life of me. It is absolutely stuck. What to do now?
I have the opposite, plug lights up but washer won’t turn on 🤷♂️
Thank you for your video! It solved my problem.
By far best weedwacker I’ve had
What if the plug doesn't click when testing
Thank you for taking the time to do this video. In the world today when any technical assistance is so expensive, people like you are a blessing to so many!

DeWalt definitely was faster not by a lot but definitely performed better in that aspect. Both still get the job done.
I'm hoping you can help me...I have an old Stanley pressure washer that I haven't used in over 10 years. I recently connected it and the machine turns on but the GFCI light is red. I thought they were supposed to be green light and red meant something was wrong but after watching your video I see that even your replacement is red. Should mine be ok then? According to my manual, it sounds like it is supposed to be red when working but not sure.
Works pretty good but after a year of having this it doesn't want to feed properly any solutions
Bad ass video saved me money
Thank you so much for making this video. I was getting so frustrated with this. I threw the spool across my porch twice and almost gave up. This video saved my blood pressure 😂
That trimmer head on your model is a quick feed system. There is no need to remove the cap and go through what you just did. Just line up the arrows and holes, feed the line to equal lengths on both sides and use the knob on top to pull the line in with about 6 inches left and you are all set!!
His method is way easier. That cap gets stuck and is a pain in the butt and doesn't always catch. The method shown in this video saved me time and frustration.
The way this trimmer head works sucks so bad and the lines does f feed properly. Probably the biggest pos I have ever bought.
I fixed it!! 🎉thanks!!
Not sure if you're still looking at comments, but I need help. My Mom didn't realize a rag fell down the disposal and now I can't get it out. I tried the Allen wrench thing and I can't even get it to turn so that thing must be really jammed in there. Any other suggestions? I've tried everything I can think of, but I can't budge that rag.
Amazing!!!!
this is NOTHING like the correct way to replace string on this weed eater. as a matter of fact, the correct way is fairly ingenious. you can see the correct way here. ua-cam.com/video/twqd5IahC2I/v-deo.html
Thank you so much for teaching me how to connect the wires. I just fixed my power washer. I am so excited!
what store did u go to
This just happened to me today. Thanks for the video.
can't see the video because of the dumb blue square on the screen.
same here, video is blocked because UA-cam says i have ad blockers, which i do not.
Thanks Man, putting it on by hand is so easy!
Thank you! It resolved my issue. 😊
Which store did you find it at?
The heavier string works great.
Hey, my Greenworks 3000 psi power washer keeps shutting off after a few seconds and I noticed the GFCI shuts off immedically after it's turned on. I tried in an outside outlets that is also CGCI and an inside regular outlet and it's the same thing. I also noticed, it's not a grounded plug and it's a bit wobbly in the outlet. I tried bending the prongs but it's still wobbly. I think I need to fix it and I'd like to change the power washer plug from 2 prongs to 3 prongs with grounded feature only because I think it will hold better in the outlet and I used it outside anyway where everything plus has a GFCI plug. Do I first have to open up the old CFCI to see if there's a ground? I only had this washer for a year and it was brand new. Thank you for any help you can give to me.
What about if the light turns on green and not red
As someone who works on electrical things, first, I'd troubleshoot and be sure there is not a ground fault before wasting money on a non returnable replacement part. I can check with a meter. For those who cannot do that, I recommend putting on a standard 3 prong plug as a test. No burning? Probably no ground fault. Before that, remember though...for many years pumps and other devices that run on AC voltage that handle water had no GFI, and people were NOT being electrocuted right and left. If my cord type GFCI failed, I'd be fine with replacing with a standard 15A plug.
Life saver. My roommate and I appreciate it. 🥹
This helped us so much. Thank YOU!
Its the 4th time Im going to use my pressure washer and I'm already having this issue. That GFCI plug is probably going to run me like close to $30 if not more 🤦 thanks for the video. Very well explained, short and to the point 👍
Unfortunately it’s a common problem, I’m glad I could help though!
Well it work.for a dorm carpet u think
The tabs won't pop up the top
literally bro shit is so aggirvating
What happened if you just splice in a regular plug?
It would work, you just wouldn’t have the GFCI protection and you risk electrocuting yourself
What are possible issues if you replace GFCI, but it still trips?
Thank you for the video ✅ my only tip would be drop a link of an ac cord thingy and make some money off of it 👍🏽
Fixed it in 2 min. Thanks!!
So I work at lowes and the thing about this is there is no replacement brush heads available not even in our system so if you get this try 2 keep your brush as long as u can because when it's done It's DONE
like their 6 inch chainsaw, when the brush goes bad, they replace the entire tool lol. its a great deal for the chainsaw and honestly not sure why they dont offer the brush or in the chainsaws instance the chain. 5 years of no hassle replacement though, exchange enough times from heavy usage and should be fairly easy to come out ahead. Oddly enough when i warranty swap my tools they keep giving me new receipts that they say resets the warranty date so on some tools and especially batteries the warranties should have been long gone but are still ongoing. My drill i bought in 2020, but the battery warranty is ongoing until 2027 due to the way they have been swapping my stuff out. no complaints there :D
Can you change the head to scrub wash cars?
I just dropped my Rincons and the lens shattered…can’t even find replacements on their site.
i think they got a page for custom lenses
I’m actually trying to fix my friends right now, it’s either the drive shaft our clutch same brand as yours. Can you make a video for replacing those our taking the weeder apart a little I’m a little afraid of breaking something on here
What if this doesn’t work? Burned motor…. I tried and it’s still just humming
You’re the greatest thank you so much!!!!
This was almost helpful. More details please. It’s like watching shady tree mechanic. After the break we will install the alternator and when they came back the alternator was already back in So you don’t see how to install the alternator for example.
Could you please elaborate on what else you would like to see? I feel like it was pretty detailed, just cut out unnecessary footage and tried to get straight to the point because most people don’t want to sit and watch a 20 minute video of someone restringing a weedeater
@@TheColeFix well maybe your hand gets in the way. Like I see you thread the like into the hole and wrap it. But could not see what you did with the end of the line. Then how you got it into the other doodad. Maybe a little slower might help. It was good other wise. Just felt like I missed something or went fast to try and do it at same time. First time with a weed wacker and being “independent”. I appreciate the help. I truly do.
that did it.
On sale for 39.99. Picked one up for my boat.
Got the last 1 at my store for 40👏
Thanks Mr Cole you helped me to fix my disposal
thanks bro! fixxed my girls garbage disposal!
Can you fix my gameboy color as well? I have the same problem
