Oooh....YES! If you THINK about it, then you start rationalizing it....even start finding something or someone to blame it for. - this gets you nowhere - You gotta feel it, accept it, embrace it, give love to it to start letting it go. Its OK to not be OK....and you gotta be OK with that. Lamenting it just makes you hold it tighter. Love your stuff man 🤗

Good video. I hate Window cleaning in the Winter months. I used to get stressed about the Weather. I realised I was deluded...Why? I can't control the weather! But I can be aware that we NEED rain to survive, and that my discomfort is coming from me. One man's meat is another one's poison. There is no ONE fixes all. Discomfort. It's like the Clouds in the Sky.....discomfort like Clouds WILL pass. The Challenge is to be OKAY in the moment, regardless of what arises.

Yet you are giving out information that has to be processed in the mind before it can be acted upon, which is a way of seeking to improve one's condition. It is necessary to listen to and put into action your sermon before the desired outcome can be experienced. Which sounds an awful lot like all the self-help information I have ever encountered. "Do this and you shall be set free."

From my own experience working with Matthew nearly 10 years together. It is incredible how much you can heal when you feel, and feel truly fulfilling. Travelling, or watching movies will never fulfill you, because you disconnect from the feeling within yourself. Basically, you are running away from your own feeling. I´m grateful for this experience. Thanks Matthew, for sharing it with the world

Appreciate this. Breaking it down beautifully. Examine the self. So many of us wander through life without ever taking a moment to ask these questions.

I am uncomfortable any time i am outside m y house. Being aware of it has not reduced the discomfort or given me the drive to want to engage with life further. Not only don't i know what i want i can't understand the desires of others and why they might want what they want. A friend asked me to go on vacation with him which would have cost less then a $1000. I said no because i can have the same experience emotionally without traveling outside the city i live in. Currently i experience one of two things. Either experiences have no impact on me of they trigger fear from simple nervousness to full blown fawning were i am physically paralyzed and unable to speak even though i am completely aware of what is going on around me.

This sounds like sensory overload. Sometimes I think that I'm too aware of what's going on inside and outside and that's very scary and overwhelming. It's so exhausting because it gets worse if you neglect any of your needs for a while.

I can so relate to what you are going through. I was lucky enough to have a session with Matthew over the phone that ended my anxiety that had me house bound. After about a decade of trying everything I finally found what I needed and discovered that is was suppressed trauma. I hope reading this helps, it sounds like you are very genuinely reaching out so I though I'd share my experience.

You changed my life. I have been obsessed with self-improvement since I was 15. Bought a book called ‘Reinventing Yourself’ and the rabbit hole began there. At 22, I realised how sad it is to want to ‘improve’ myself when I didn’t even know who I was yet back then! But the belief was already so concrete I still watch UA-cam videos on how to be better, achieve more, even went as far as blaming my parents for carrying ‘unwanted traits’ that I ‘inherited’. Day after day i keep introducing ideas on who I need to be that’s completely separate to who I am. When I talk to my therapist, it’s always the same issue -- me having endless conflicts with myself, down to blaming myself for waking up 30 mins later than I was ‘supposed’ to. Now at 24, I achieved most of the things I wanted as a child yet I feel super empty and disconnected with myself still and couldn’t figure out why. This saved me. Thank you for this.

So, we should accept our non-acceptance? You can judge something without being negative about it. For example: Pooping your diaper as a child and learning how to go potty. It is a form of self-love to improve. It says you're worth it. Anger towards self would be telling yourself that you're stupid or a failure. Love towards self would be telling yourself you have areas you can improve and you're worth the effort. Source: Less thought than it took to finish this short.
