Glad to see the retention strap is on the correct side! So often, that strap is placed where the edge is close to cutting it every time you remove the knife from the sheath.

Very nice. Why are they called bird and trout knives. I do some blacksmithing and I do some trout fishing. I still don't know 😂. It doesn't exactly look like a fillet knife , I think you could use it though.
