You crack me up, this is the 3rd time I’ve researched something I’m thinking about doing or am doing in my FJ and I find you doing it! I was living out of my FJ but moved into an apartment in July. Now I need to figure out paying off some debt. Was wondering if you can still make enough doing door dash in a FJ with the gas expense. You look great, you really lost a lot of weight.

I ran a bilstein strut leveling shock on mine yrs ago and ran 315 16s or 34s. And used it in an open pit mine surveying.. it really handled the rough wash board roads and tall enough to get back in some rough areas. But not too expensive!!

That's so awesome. Your Tundra made it to Crowley Lake Stone Columns. I went there last week and the roads were so bad that my truck could not make it through the bad ruts and dip holes. I saw other peoples undercarriage splash shields, rocker panel moldings and front bumper spoilers off there vehicle all over the dirt road. I want to visit Travertine Hot Springs too.

I hate the mosquitoes like that , hit springs definitely look like a comforting thing to do. I love my Tacoma but really would like to have the Tundra for some extra room for camping you put yours to the test, awesome views from the top when you go there. Awesome paddle board and Kayak area , pups definitely loved it. Thanks for taking us along.

I have a 2004 tundra double cab overland build that weighs about 6500lbs. The 1st gen tundra brakes are known to suck. The solution is swapping to Lexus GX460 brakes. You will have to get the calipers rotors and pads. No modifications were needed except one which is to have a machinist take 3.5mm off the mounting ears on the calipers. It’s night and day difference and only cost about 600-700$. I used 2015 lexus gx460 parts but I believe its the same 2010-2019 at least. I also swapped the brakes lines for stainless steel brake lines. There is a further brake mod to do which I haven’t done yet but would like to do. The brake booster from a T100 has a double diaphragm and ours have a single diaphragm. The t100 also have a bigger diameter master cylinder. These upgrades help it be a lot more responsive as well.
