Turtle is overpriced. Storm feels like a good pick but I think he's a trap. Gotta run units of 6 Morsar. Teleport BF is a trap. Beastmasters is better. I think primal is better and take armor instead of morsels. Sharks also feel overpriced. They should be 160. For 20 points less 3 eels are way better.

Your gnawholes are once per battle round. How come you are putting one down during each players turn?

Rough covering fire only getting two damage out of six jezzails. Those guys are horrifying.

One thing to note when you're taking Alarielle in a Lords of the Clan list: Endless Growth (plus the other two battle traits) only affects units that are wholly within 6" of an AWW. Alarielle's base by itself is more than 6" across, so it's impossible for her to be wholly within 6" of an AWW, and therefore, she can never benefit from any of Sylvaneth's battle traits whatsoever - no healing, no teleporting. On top of that, because she can Fly, she also doesn't benefit from Cover or Obscuring when hiding behind terrain. The only healing Alarielle can use is her "Heal 2d3" ability, or the Emerald Lifeswarm, if you're using the Primal manifestation lore. Just something for folks to keep in mind, seeing as most lists are going to be running either her or Belthanos.

Man I hate to be a killjoy but Sylvaneth has changed a lot You can't teleport two units of Tree Revs anymore, their ability is now Once Per Turn (Army) meaning only one unit can teleport per turn. There's now almost no reason to take more than 1 Kurnoth Bows do not benefit from Arch-rev's +1 to wound because he only gives that bonus to COMBAT attacks, which shooting attacks are not. They really hurt us this edition

Now that’s what I like! The big guys vs the big guys. I play 2 units of 9 Rockguts with 2 units of stabbas for trash troops. Very cool battle report, guys! I love seeing the bullgors on the table.

If I could recommend a good starting army it would be Slaves to Darkness for your new player. Pretty forgiving and honest warhammer with a lot of feel good moments.

Nice to see some casual games on the channel. Khorne can be a challenging army to jump into with a lot of timing and positioning to plan out. Corey seemed to hold his own vs a pretty aggressive army With bodyguard rules being clarified as ward, do you feel Ar'gath King of Blades seems auto include for all Khorne lists going forward?

This is a rough slaves list. Definitely reconsider your grand strategy, the odds of rolling 11/12 are very bad. Hope is a very poor strategy. Slaves struggle with grand strategies, you’re usually better off taking spellcasting savant

Hey guys thanks for the shout out, as always such an informative straightforward battle report that is full of good play. Great piloting from both sides. The Ensorcelled weapons have always let me down compared to the output of felspears. I would have one small suggestion which would be to either swap the mark to khorne or swap the weapons to Fellspears. Picking up your enemies unit with a devisating charge so you can freely rally next hero phase seems like the core mechanic of KoTET. Looks like the nurgle mark saved your General so I understand why you wouldn't want to risk it with losing -1 to wound. Again great report and eagerly awaiting your next.

It was a really good battle report. Sorry for my quick jump to banishing with wizards I see how it could be gotten rid of by a wizard. Great battle rep always love seeing Khorne and Soulblight played. The wet noodle fights were funnny towards the end.

Enjoyed the tournament report. There are a number of AoS players up in Jackson MS. Metairie is close enough that we might be able to to join y'all on some of your tournaments. Perhaps vice-versa as well. We play thought a hobby store called Van's in Ridgeland MS.
