I was the player on the French right. Simply did not retreat early enough considering I brought the provisional division (the worst and slowest troops) from Massena. Thanks for covering Kingston!

we made a couple strategic blunders this game (not pulling back massena fast enough while we were developing the french left) and then I pursued the enemy past the river (with the polish inf) rather than turning to take their 4pt LOC. I thought I had time but really we should and could have secured the two 4pts and this would have probably been our game :(

Yep,the peninsular corps for france is much weaker than 1809 and 1806-1805 and even 1812-1814 corps in terms of stats

honestly i wish tw could make a new verion of this exact game with no lag or drops thats it. and god i love it when the french win but still close one what a fight

I can't figure out why the French always have so much infantry in the middle or at the end of the battle? Why? The best tactic for the coalition would be to take the maximum amount of infantry, completely abandoning the cavalry and taking some artillery. A large mass of infantry always decides the outcome of the battle, and not individual units of cavalry or cannons.

What mod is being used in this battle? It looks absolutely fantastic and I love the corps system

Charging into freshly arrived french units almost never work, it doesn't matter whether you have grenadiers or not.They have high morale and will hold for a long time while your unit gets exhausted.Austria should have just stood and fired ,that's their strength not charging into meele

Question: is prussia in general a bad faction? It seems is not play to much (especially late prussia)

wait i downloaded the game then installed the mod, the mod worked good but when i wanted to play again, now it just loads then stops completely, do i have to delete the game then play the mod?

Good to see that the French players did not pour in 4 division worth of troops at Hougoumont, as was done historically, giving the W to the Anglo-Dutch-German-Belgium allies. Most historians agree, and also regular plebs like me, that if Napoleons Generals avoided Hougoumont, he would have had a resounding victory.

Very fast and brutal battle. But trying to artillery snipe the Gen at the beginning and the pull through at 19:00 was quite bad play by the French.

I always get sick in such matches against the French, because the French faction is made too strong and not properly balanced, this is clearly seen in the attack of heavy cavalry on the French infantry in the 27th minute, for some reason the game decided that the French, even without squares, somehow fend off heavy cavalry.

Holy hell this was an amazing battle, it was so insanely close that it had me hanging midair the whole time! Though it says "draw" but it was a French victory no doubt! That massive push in the center was what really weakened the Coalition thus allowing a French victory, albeit a huge, huge gamble like the title says, because had it failed then the French could never gather enough strength to do it again after the heavy casualties they took earlier from the waves of cavalry attacks that had me really scared for the French at the beginning stage of the battle, and when the French cavalries began picking off British guns one by one I was like it's karma swinging around lol.

Really, really enjoyed this one. I'm a real fan of Swedish and some other minor factions, it was nice to see it. That battle was actually brought up to my attention by some of the Lordz team's people as I started talking with them about Sweden's changes and ballancing it. I really hope it happens and prolly it will among to some new Swedish 1813 corps. I always got really interested in Finnish war 1808-9 and so hearing that work needs to be done and people are required I will probably try to participate. Please do more od Sweden, Poland and other minor faction's battles more ♥ Thanks for this one!
