Strongly recommend not buying anything from this company. Had the Pura X. The infrared sensor failed but they refuse to fix it because it is past the 12 month warranty. They don't even offer a replacement part or have an option to fix it. They literally offered me a discount on buying a new one. Like why would I buy another >$500 litter box with known faults? Just have a read of the reviews, there are plenty of people with similar sensor failure issues. Buyer beware!!

This video is amazing! We have the same options available in Australia and this has been so helpful showing the differences between them in action as we are looking to move away from crystal/silica to another type. I've had my eye on tofu but am very excited to try it out now!

My fav is crystal litter.. 1. It absorbs liquid well 2. it is so easy to scoop only the poop 3.Cleaning the litter box is also easy 4. Great in odour control 5. One pack is enough for a cat for nearly a month

Nice video. Im currently using crustal litter bcs i think they control odor the best, tou just jave to scoop out their poo daily to prevent the bad smelling. I've used bentonite and tofu before but im sticking with crystal. It's the best for me in terms of odor control and cleaning.

im using bentonite for months now and i think im slowly losing my mind..the sand gets everywhere even in my dining table, drives me insane😵

Mine broke after 14 months. Out if warranty and cant use it- unless keep it and still have to scoop from now on. Common issue is the weight sensor that it erroneously identify cat is inside, even if it’s not. So it will not cycle/clean. Support is no help, no tutorials or parts replacement whatever if you want to repair it etc. well at least i have a very convenient life for 14months- $600 worth of convenience.

Be careful with Petkit, I have a Pura X, bought 15 months ago and it is broken, keeps on rotating. The customer service says since it is out of warranty (1 year) the entire Pura X has to be thrown away to rubbish and buy a new one, if it is in warranty a piece can be changed. So much respect the environment sustainability from this company? Because a broken piece eveyrthing has to be thrown away?

I agree with u on the size of tofu cat litter. I m still new with all this cats thing. Recently I bought tofu cat litter matcha. Smells good. I m trying to train the stray cats that always lingering on my porch . I find that when they pee it's easy n clumping..but when they poo the tofu litter not really clump. I guess the size of the tofu litter are matters

I have a question... is tofu litter harmful if the cat eats it?

Please Read: My Pura Max unit broke 5 days out of the box and for two weeks I tried to get a refund, to no avail. I finally got someone at the support number to talk to me straight. The support number you call is nothing more than a warehouse called World Distribution Inc. Purkit / Pura Max does not have a footprint in the USA. When you call with your issue, the warehouse worker will just forward your issue via email to China. Look around the website, you will not find a physical address or any direct contact for that matter...all emails listed go to one person in China (she calls herself Emma). China’s Customer Service is almost nonresistant. If you have plans to buy one of these units, please cancel them and find another product with a detailed return policy on a website with a physical location in the USA. The unit has several issues, here is one that we could not figure out. We kept smelling urine after we put it in and could not figure out why. Nothing was in the drum and we replaced the waste bags twice a day. Finally I found a couple drops of urine on the bottom of the drum when the unit was rotating (should not have been there). I removed the drum to find a pool of urine in the base unit. Apparently the liner holding the litter in not much thicker than a sweatshirt, and a cats claw can go straight through it...allowing urine to flow through and pool in the base unit.

Good luck getting a refund if you ever need it. My unit broke in 5 days (two weeks ago) and they still will not send me the return label. They tell you that the unit can be returned within 30 days...mine still has all the stickers on it...we are actually hiring an attorney tomorrow to force them to do what they say. My advice it to find another product.

Any chance you can tell me the brand of the conventional litter box you are using ? That also looks really good.

I bought it last year in November. I love it. very easy to work with. I periodically take it apart to clean. I vacuumed the interior out after removing the drum to clean. as well as check the level of the deodorizer liquid. removed the deodorizer chamber to clean the nozel area too. would it be possible for you to post a picture of the inside of the deodorizer slot where the deodorizer chamber plugs into? I would like to check the placement of a 4 to 5 inch long by 1/2 inch wide piece of rubber foam. it appears to be ment to soak up excess deodorizer liquid.

Petkit is fraud!!! I ordered things on the website. They never send it out. And later when I checked with them. They said it would be 4 months to ship!!!!! By the time I even can not dispute my order.!!! Please don’t recommend anything related to this brand. Unless they paid you to do this!

This brand is fraud. It has bad reputation. They steal the costumer information then delay the shipping for 4 months!!! If you still have a kind heart, please delete your video!!!!!!
