The Wilson Brothers were physically and mentally abused. But here's the best part since the father did all that damage caused he learned that from his father. So sad of that nasty mental illness. Why didn’t Brian visit Carl when Carl was dying from lung cancer? Carl prayed about it. Apparently, they had a falling out. That was Carl's wish. It's so tragic. He was only 51 years old. He even performed months before his untimely death. He was a beautiful soul with a voice of angelic sound, and a great guitarist. 😢💔🙏🎸🎶🕊

I love the Beach Boys. I was born a few years after Pet Sounds was released and can't imagine it being a flop. The first time I heard that album I played it over and over and over and over. Brian Wilson is a genius!

I'm 74 years old. Loved the Beach Boys forever but now I wished that I would have never followed the disasterous parts of their lives.

Eugene Kandy may have started out sincere but it didn't take long til he used his situation to make himself a rock star. He and Charles Manson tried to do the same with Brian, but Landy was the one who did the most damage in the end. Manson made Brian fear for his life for many years.

I'm 63 now and grew up with these men. They were already out of their teens when I was born. I watched them go from young men to much older men and grew up with their music. I can't count the number of days and nights I spent at the Jersey Shore listening to, and living, this music. Rare is a musical group that can stand the test of time, or endure through different periods of time. These guys were able to touch the emotions and feelings of multiple generations. What a magic carpet ride.

They are a true legend.

I am so glad i got to see them at least once while they were all togerher !! It was in 1980 on campus at Alabama !! Such a fun concert ! Everybody was up dancing and singing, most all of the concert !!

The Beatles were a quick fad. A few hit songs but not even close to the talent of Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys. The Beatles also had a freak in the group, John Lennon. Thought he was more popular than Jesus. Wonder how that went over when he met Jesus.
