Snowboarders lucky escape caught on 2 GoPro's
Its not just a single hole, underneath theres a tunnel under alot more of the snow!
Dang! I guess falling into a crevasse isn't as rare as I thought it would be. I've seen tons of video's like this in the last few days after watching a tree well rescue. Now my recommended videos are loaded with avalanches, tree wells & crevasse rescues.
What the hell even is that hole? You telling me there are random air pockets below the snow? How does that even form?
If im not mistaken its where a tree was that got dug out to create the path
So much of an emergency that he couldn't put his selfie stick down, welcome to the 21st century fuckin snowflakes lol
Smmoking
Freestyle boards, zero security equipements. Do me a favor stay on resort next time.
Bahaha pretty chill guys for the scariest moment of ur life
Wow I was thinking a avalanche or something not that. Wired how it made that perfect circular drop area above that creek
Still should have called ski patrol and told them about the hole so it could be marked.
Incredible. So do you guys try to fill that in before taking off? Or cordon it off somehow? Forgive me, I don't know much about snow sports.
Lucky you didn't wake up the bear that was living down there....
I had no idea enormous random holes like this even existed. That's scary AF!!
there called crevasses
@@Top10AI203 that’s not a crevasse, thats a treewell. Nothing like newbies who have no idea what they are talkin about
@@Top10AI203 That is not a crevasse, that is a snow bridge formed over a river. A crevasse only exists on glacier and this is not it because of the trees all around. Two things to avoid at all cost while riding backcountry are rivers and trees
random is the right word. How the heck did that hole even end up being there
@@doriandundee9906 Large amounts of snow on a small stream or river. The water isn't frozen and gradually melts and carries away the snow until you end up with a hollow cavity beneath an otherwise inconspicious snow layer. Other way is for treebranches to form a roof which carry the snow but not the fellow skiing over it.
This is actually a fake video but if it saves one person it’s a great video
GET MY GUY OUTTA THE HOLE ASAP!!!!!!!!!!
Хорошо, что это не берлога медведя!
Now that’s just terrifying. If he was alone he’d be dead makes me rethink me wanting to go alone
Never go alone. It's way too dangerous.
This happened to my friend naiel
Lucky it wasn’t a beer den down there
0:46 that is funny
We're gonna need someone to get you out lol you can touch him 😂 ffs some people
Damned mammoths, when they pee-pee the hole in the snow is enormous. Seriously, yellow jacket guy was pretty lucky that buddies heard him. That's why we never ride alone.
Seems that the bear was not at home.
This taught me a valuable lesson: Always carry a rope in your pack when going in the outdoors.
Hey matty its russ. Man what a funny time this was. Hope youre well buddy! Reply back bro
Hey Russ! It's funny every winter this video gets loads of action. Especially this year had lots of people commenting. How are you going mate?
At least he didn't wake up the bears hibernating
Very similar thing happened to me and a buddy last week, thankfully he didnt fall all the way through. Video on my page
WTF? Random hole!? I'm never going off-piste! I'm glad there was someone to rescue you and it all turned out okay.
I may be dead but it's not all bad. I got the video! Hurray, wait no.
hollow earth theory is true!
A Gaijin trap...
Just dig the snow into the hole. The hole fills up, the guy gets lifted up, and the surrounding snow goes down.
Talk about unlucky holy shit
Can someone explain how this hole forms? Is it like a cravasse?
I sure do hope y’all caved that in before leaving lol
yoo what is that thing? I'm terrified
"I'm here with ya man!" "Oh good" "Be careful" "No shit!" lol
The worthless cuticle positionally drip because basement booly form but a tasteless mist. oval, clear pedestrian
Is nobody gonna talk about that second skiier who went down right before him 💀
Serves him right for riding with a selfie stick lol
Perfect thanks
Very cool thanks
Perfect love this
It puts the lotion on its skin!
bro rrolled into the hole
Dang
All these people saying “don’t ride alone.” What if you don’t have friends?? Should I ask someone in the lift line to stay with me at all times? No. Riding alone is ok, just don’t ride alone backcountry. Simple
Don’t ride out of bounds, backcountry, or in the trees alone* you can ride alone in a resort just fine
the guy almost die but he doesn't take off his camera no comment
