Henlo everyone! I’m finally on my mid-semester break (only for one week) and I have soso many lectures and assignments to catch up on… but I still wanted to film a baking vlog after so longg 🥺.
I attempted to make some pretty cherry blossom madeleines I’ve seen lately but I kinda failed ❌.
Anyways, I still wanted to upload and share the vlog with everyone and remind you that baking doesn’t always go to plan, haha..
Also! I will be uploading my next vlog soon (not baking related) so hope you look forward to it !

📖 Recipe (adapted from 'Yujung’ - www.yujung.me/recipes/matcha-madeleines)
[Makes 12 madeleines / Preheat oven to 180℃]
✅ Ingredients
1 egg, approx. 66g (room temperature)
sugar, unsalted butter (melted), plain flour (all same weight as egg)
baking powder, 1 tsp
honey, 1 tsp
white chocolate, 114g
freeze dried strawberries (I used 5) / can be substituted with pink candy melts
⏰ Bake @180℃ for 10-12 mins

Hi there, the whole cake mould is 29.4x16.8x5cm. I’m not sure what the individual measurements are for each cake (only that they are 5cm deep), but you can check the mould out from the link in the description box for the mould! I used the 8-cavity one 🙌

@@a_bbi_boo will it mean the cake will spoil faster when we give to our friends? Since it already got baked for 3 days
Since it is kept stored in the refrigerator, it will last for another 2 days at most after you ice it! Refrigerating it for 3 days won’t spoil it :)

You can store for at most 2 more days after you decorate it with icing! So total 5 days whether you ice it or not :)
