I'm sorry but I personally don't agree with your idea on scrum getting with Serena. I always loved the idea of a Missionary with a heart of gold and a Mermaid who sees the good in them getting together. I thought both Serena and Philip were really captivating characters who added more depth to the story. But honestly, I totally agree with your rewrite of everything else. In my opinion, On Stranger Tides was really good but some things definitely could have been improved. Great Video!

I know it's not a popular opinion, but I absolutely loved Serena and Philip and their couple arc. I liked the idea of Serena liking Philip because he was different from other humans because he protected rather than thought of selfish desires with them both falling for each other. I feel like having something to evolve their characters would've been awesome!

What I would have liked is if they made it a 2 parter like dead man’s chest and At worlds end where DMTNT sets up the 6th movie and instead of cramming in and forcing Will’s freedom, Will takes back the role of the protagonist in Pirates 6 where he thinks Jack killed his son or Jack betrayed his son and wants to hunt him and the Black Pearl down and then earns his freedom when he learns Jack and his son have been working together. Maybe the Dutchmen crew has a mutiny when they learn he’s trying to break the curse and that helps him get his freedom. Also Elizabeth should play a role in it instead of them both just getting to have a reunion with no effort of their own
