Aww, my pink rosel voile fabric is going to be famous. :) The only soap I've heard to clean leather is saddle soap but I and others didn't have much luck on our kidskin gloves.

Cindy I love your prompts! How fun is it to drive and look at the lights and decorations! One of our favorite things to do! How nice to have those photos of you and your brother and that vintage Christmas card. You are really enjoying your memories! I remember getting those catalogs and looking at every single page, over and over again. Your Holy page is perfect, O Holy Night is my favorite Christmas hymm. How perfect that you got the gingerbread charm and journal card. Gotta have a vintage recipe of gingerbread. Oh my, I remember that sweet little girls on the toilet paper, lol! so pretty. This is such a fascinating journal and so well done. I love to learn history from places like this. I have a cabin in the Allegheny mountains in Virginia, right on the WV border and am interested in the old coal mining towns too. One day I might do a journal like this although I could never do as good a job as you did! I am in love with old general stores and the county where my cabin is has three that are still in use today!

I loved visiting Bodie. Its like it was frozen in time. I love the little details you added, like the page on the front cover that has "gold" down the sides, relating to Bodie's gold rush. The way the rooms were left felt to me like they had to leave in a hurry because of the fire and just left everything in place. But that's my imagination. The general store was my favorite too.
