Not being first and not winning all the time is the WORST for kids! (And sometimes us adults...!) This song approaches the concept of winning and being first in a fun, light-hearted way. My goal is to bring attention to how our wants impact those around us, and how they may appear to those around us. (Such as whining, crying, and complaining about NOT winning or being first.) These concepts can be applied to being the fastest, the tallest, the biggest, etc.
Growing and maturing takes time,. Understanding that the world does not revolve around only OUR needs and desires is a natural step to child developmental. Why not have fun with it?!?!?
