I remember watching this episode at my grandmother’s house late one night with her & a pal of mine. It was a rerun of course & I can’t remember laughing so hard. We were all rolling. I miss that wonderful lady.
Oh my god !!!!!!!!! I had to watch this and send it to my daughter …. Her daughter is making some pizzas for them for dinner …. I couldn’t resist !!!!! 🤣😂🤣 Blahahaha. I’m dying !!!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Every time I see an ad on T.V. advertising that junk and while demonstrating it or talking about it says "Amazing" I always say "But can it core a apple?" People look at me like I'm nuts.
Is there anyone out there who was around back then who can explain how they were able to make a commercial that lasted so long? This was more like an infomercial. Did they have very long commercials back then?
Thanks for the upload on the Gilbert godfried episode of norm macdonalds old podcast they were saying it and doing the voice and it sounded so funny but I never knew what it was.
“ I will core an Apple the old fashioned way” Ed cores it in two milliseconds! “ there, I am through” . Then Ralph demolishes the 🍎 the “ modern way.,” Hilarious!! To say that this was pure comic genius would be an understatement.
Gleason collapsing part of the set was purely accidental, but he stayed completely in character. Somehow, I have a feeling Carney himself came up with the "a" instead of the correct "an" (apple) and Gleason picked it up from him. Amazing how one little grammatical error can make a question sound funny!
Ad libs 🤣🤣🤣
Zip zip 😂. Ha, ha!
Anyone notice this bit was done in just one take? No camera cuts.

If this was done before a live audience, how Art Carney was able to not laugh during this is simply amazing!

In an interview with Art Carney he said that this was one of his favorite episodes. The other was the one where he was giving Ralph golf lessons.
“Helloooo, ball.”
